It is what it is, a 'toy' Stormtrooper helmet that I have wanted ever since I was about 3 or 4 (when you couldn't just order a replica, as you can thesedays for way more money) This is the first ever entry level toy full head helmet! It gave me what I actually wrote to 'Jim'll Fix It' about. The chance to put on the helmet (that is sounding wrong now...) The chance to recreate the scene of Luke and Han disguising themselves as Stormtroopers, that is all I wanted as a kid, and aside from buying an obviously more costly 501st approved helmet or armour, this is a fantastic way to fulfill those memories. It fits me, and it fits my 7 1/2 year old daughter after a quick adjustment,yes the voice changer has it's faults, the speaker is at the back next to the slightly untidy battery compartment, it doesn't sound anything much like a Stormtrooper (it makes 2 different crackle noises btw as people have reviewed different interpretations- 1st when pressed on, and the 2nd when it automatically turns off, after 60 seconds) everything spoken into the microphone (easily pushed close or away by a few cm when adjusting the fit) is amplified and slightly distorted through the speaker on the rear, not a preferred design choice perhaps, but I bought mine already knowing about this, I have tried out voice acted lines through it, and it does not give it the sound of a Stormtrooper despite an en-point accent, tone and delivery of the lines. My daughter however enjoys it whilst giving me Vader and Kylo quotes through it, ha ha.The outside box is beautiful!I can't put into words the second that I actually saw it in the store that I purchased mine from, okay, I can, it was better than Charlie Bucket's golden ticket, it was there in my hands, I finally had it!The helmet looks so awesome, it is a great display piece to stare at, I don't care if it doesn't sound as some may wish, I don't care that there are slight gaps and you have to assemble the front and back halves and the 3rd top piece, or that you have to adjust the (a bit like a snapback cap) straps inside to try and fit to the correct headsize.Thank you Hasbro, it sits on display on my shelf as an icon of my childhood, and boy, it really does look fantastic on display!From one very happy, almost 43yr old dad and his equally excited daughter!

When Luke Skywalker said to Han Solo "I can't see a thing in this helmet!" he wasn't joking, and neither am I but that's not the point! It's a Imperial Stormtrooper helmet, its almost screen-perfect (the actual helmets don't have a very obvious grille in the back so you can hear the sounds but other than this, its a replica helmet, it's iconic, and its 1:1 scale with the actual props and its well-made and well-priced (at the time I'm writing my review). As others have said here, it arrives in a box; simply unpack, pull out and click together. Once assembled it will not go back into the box unless disassembled,so if you are like me and want to put it away someplace safe you have to make the decision early on; display or don't display basically.The field of vision for an Imperial Stormtrooper is very much obscured by the helmet itself and you can hear yourself breathing in it. This probably explains why, despite Obi-wan Kenobi's comment, "and look at these blast points ... only Imperial troops are this precise" all Imperial troops are terrible shots! Why they could not even hit a guy standing in front of a near-junkpile YT-1300 at Mos Eisley, or on the Death Star hit a kid and a fleeing princess who were standing on a ledge with nowhere to hide; so I very much doubt what the late General Kenobi said, unless of course he was attempting to manipulate Luke Skywalker into going with him. Anyway, the helmet is great fun, you can stand around in front of buildings telling people to "move along" all day with it on and nobody challenges you. And of course since every trooper looks like every other trooper you can easily infiltrate Imperial facilities wearing one without anyone suspecting a thing (until you start blasting that is).I've included images of my helmet - inside and out so you can see the finished product in its assembled state.

The helmet itself is pretty awesome. Once you put it together and get it fitting right with the straps it looks like the real deal - to me at least. I put in some cricket helmet foam inners that I had to make it fit more comfortably and snugly on my head, which helped. The only thing I would say about the helmet is that two of the pieces don't snap together perfectly and so there is a bit of a gap at the back, but no biggy. The voice changer is okay, better than I thought after seeing some other reviews, but how it looks is the best thing about it in my opinion.Now...that's the helmet. Getting it here was a major hassle. The first one I ordered got delayed and then lost.The second one I ordered got delayed and then when it did arrive (I live in NZ), I learned why the other one probably didn't make it. It came in its original box with no extra packaging, so everyone could see what it was and it surely made the day of some light-fingered Star Wars fan who happened to come across it. Not the smartest thing to do I have to say but it did finally get here, second time around at least. And, I have to admit, most of the customer service contact experience I had with Amazon UK was pretty good, which didn't make up for the delay or hassle but was something I appreciated.So, that's my review, 4 stars from me, which would have been 5 stars if the helmet snapped together properly and didn't have the little gap at the back. A pretty good effort from Hasbro and worth the $ I paid for it.

I have a 24 inch massive head, lol. Suggested this as a gift from my wife based on the head sizes suggested on the reviews. It does NOT fit me comfortably at all. I can get the helmet on, but it is skin tight, not comfortable in the slightest, even with the straps inside removed. That said, it's still worth it for a painful few minutes of wearing it and also the lifetime of joy I will get having this as a display piece.As other reviews state, the voice changer is beyond useless, pathetic even, but does not detract from how amazingly close this is to the film helmets.It looks amazing and the green tint on the lenses mentioned in other reviews is not even noticeable.I also see you can separately buy wall mounting brackets to hang this from.If I'm being honest, I hardly ever intended to wear this for a long period of time, so as a display piece for 98% of the time it is amazing. The other painful 2% of the time will involve me posting Insta shots of me wearing it for fun.As a closing thought, this is just like my force effects lightsaber... they epitomise what a cool present they are. Pointless, not useful or needed in any practical way, expensive, and even some might say immature. But that's WHY they're so cool. Keep your clothes, tools and socks, and other boring presents... products like this make life more fun. This is the way.

Stormtroopers are probably one of the most iconic characters in star wars, from their iconic helmets to their inability to shoot anything in front of them.This product covers all of those bases, it looks amazing with high accuracy that will fool anyone that glances at it that it's movie replica standard.There are a few errors but that's because the helmet has changed over the movies but the only issue for me was the size.It's a little small for an adult, as i think it's intended for a child but since it's the black series helmet the price is not what I'd suggest buying for a child's play helmet.It's very easy to assemble with two main parts clicking together, and snapping into place,compared to the Darth Vader and Bobba fett helmet, the inside of the helmet is a little lacking but once its on you can't see it anyway.I can see why Stormtroopers cannot shoot anything and empathise as I could not see anything either whilst wearing this helmet so in that case it's movie accurate as well ?Over all this is a great addition to the black series and loomks great in my collection. Amazon and hasbro again delivered a great damage free product in a quicker than expected time frame.Love it!

CSssh! "TK421, why aren't you at your post?"I don't normally write reviews but I felt the need to after purchasing this product. To begin with I have to say that the box itself is very tasteful and gives the impression of a quality show piece rather than a toy which pays homage to the beautiful design us Star Wars fans all recognise and love (of course that won't stop you having fun with it)The helmet itself from what I have read is sculpted based on the classic Stormtrooper style of helmet but the reworked Rogue One version which I personally think is better as there is more attention to detail, lending itself as more of a 'Hero'model from the original movies (I'm sure some über geek will correct me here)The helmet is made from ABS which gives a nice shine and has a sturdy weight and quality 'feel' to it. I didn't bother installing the batteries into mine as I had seen the reviews for the voice changer which I might had didn't bother me as for £75 for the helmet alone I consider a bargain compared to the more expensive units out there.So what are you waiting for this IS the helmet you are looking for! Move along, move along!

Firstly, Collectors beware when ordering this that it will probably be sent without any outer packaging, Mine arrived with labels & tape applied direct to the display box, ruining it.Helmet itself is Ok but overpriced for what it is, which is a slightly better build quality to any £20-£30 childs Voice Changer Helmet. The changer on mine does work, but sounds nothing like a Stormtrooper. This is unsuitable for official costuming, due to the poorly placed battery box & speaker at the rear, but is fine for parties or just as a display piece. If you are considering one as a Airsoft helmet, the lenses will need to be replaced, I purchased a welders green mask replacement & used the original lenses as templates to cut new ones from the sheet.It will also require fans fitting to prevent it misting up.

This is very nice and smart but does have Minor imperfections(on very close examination there is Very minor imprints/Not Completely Smooth All round on the white surface but NOT Noticeable) But i notice as i thoroughly examine Everything i purchase.I am disappointed about the box it comes in as i like my stuff to be perfect WITHOUT marks and scratches on the box.i think this box should have been packaged inside an outside plain box like Most items.Very annoyed about how this was packed.Voice changer is load of rubbish as it works on and off,Not worth using it.The original box is ruined...marks and scratches on it.You could have done better Amazon.!!!!!DON'T EXPECT TO PULL THIS HELMET APART ONCE YOU HAVE PUT IT TOGETHER,AS I TRIED AND CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT DAMAGING IT.

I think for the price if you get it at the RRP of £69.99 it's an absolute bargain. Ok it's not perfect and the voice changer is purely a microphone with some static before it activates and it finishes. However as the first full face 1:1 affordable helmet since the master replica one in 2007 it's great. Yes you can see the joins after its fitted close up but for the average fan it's fantastic. It appears already very hard to get hold of. The manufacturer must not make much of a profit on these otherwise they would make far more as there is a market for them. I got mine from another well known retailer but amazon was my first choice if it had been in stock at the RRP.Still can't believe I managed to get mine.

I like this helmet very much. After building my own Stormtrooper suit (an old FX Armor Kit) I searched a long time for an easy to build helmet. I needed a long time by building the armor and lost the fun to add more work for the helmet. Then I found this kind and thought „why not, give it a try“. And I was really impressed how got it looks. Only think I had to change was the straps. I removed them and inserted some helmet pads I bought on amazon too. Now the helm fits perfectly for my needs. The only thing I’m not happy about is the build in micro. It’s to quiet. I changed it with a more professional speaker system (winbridge voice amplifier).My result - Great helmet for the glass cabinet orcosplay.

Good looking helmet, but not the most comfortable. Luke wasn't kidding when he said "I can't see a thing in this helmet"! I can see forwards and up, but can't see what I'm going to step on in the slightest. I can't even see my arms if I reach out in front of me. To look down, I have to hold the helmet in place on my head, otherwise it's just my head looking down inside the helmet and the helmet still looking forward. The look and aesthetic of it is really nice and I love having it as part of my collection, so I would recommend it, but only as a display piece or to wear whilst staying still, I would not recommend wearing it for anything that required movement or spacial awareness

Who would not want a movie accurate stormtrooper helmet, Brought this more for a display piece so it is an added bonus that you can actually wear it!! Really good quality build, comes in 3 pieces that simply slot together making it bigger than the box. Good value for money as I have seen these for about £80:00.Voice changer was more amusing than accurate, unless you can perfect an American/stormtrooper accent, I just sounded like the empires first Brummy member!! Still a really good display item.I wish they did these when I was a kid, Now I just need a movie accurate blaster and I can run around the house shouting "close the blast doors"

I've wanted a Storm Trooper helmet since I was a kid, and finally one that is within my price range shows up. It looks amazing, and improves upon the original movie design by having proper symmetry and ridged/bevelled details, that in the original movie were just painted on because "nobody would notice". Guess they didn't predict HD and 4K video. Only dislikes are the green lenses, they should have been grey "sunglass" type lenses. And of course the voice changer, which they might as well have left out, as the speaker is on the back of the helmet, and therefore barely audible over the sound of your own voice.

i av wanted this helmet for a while and as a display item it looks amazing, comes in 3 pieces that once fitted together will not come apart, its a large helmet with great detail, i am really glad i bought it but if i was honest wud go for the darth vader or boba fett one first as they are just amazing.....saying that this is an excellent helmet and if i hadnt bought the vader and fett one first i wud of loved it more, but i wud still highly recommend this as im sure they will rise in price and its still a brilliant replica

I really liked this helmet and I made sure exactly what I was buying by watching a few YouTube videos. Solid construction made of good materials. The mic voice changer just does NOT work, period. However even if it did, it wouldn't be up to snuff so I bought a mic separate. One thing I was a little disappointed with was how it didn't fit my head. Now I have a larger head and it always been a bit of a pain so anyone with an average head size need not worry but the larger headed folk know who they are.
