Our 16 month old received these for Christmas with his kitchen. He likes to explore the robustness of his toys in full and these have with stood the majority of the punishment he has given them, save some paint chips. The "eggs" are solid pieces of turned wood which in the wrong hands are also solid pieces of turned wooden missiles, but with supervision this isn't a problem. The only issue is the carton of juice which has a small hole and a piece of dowelling inserted as a straw - possible choke/injury hazard. All in really happy with these.

We have had this set for over a year now and have been really pleased. The corners of the milk carton and jam pot have got a little battered from constant playing and dropping on the tiled kitchen floor, but the items have stood up well to the test of time. The ''straw" from the orange juice cartoon got lost very quickly but that hasn't stopped my son enjoying playing with the carton. These are solid wooden toys and feel and look so much nicer than cheaper plastic play food items. I also like the company's environmental focus.
