But I knew capacity issue before buying, thanks to the other reviews.Still, the sales description should still be updated.I do like the pot, hence 4 stars. But it would have been better if genuinely holds 1ltr.... (the 1.5ltr would be too much for me, even assuming some reduction compared to the description).Just one potentially dangerous thing to note...If you do try to fully fill it to the brim (which is only just over 900ml or thereabouts), air gets trapped under the rim. If the water is boiling - as you'd expect it would be for making teat, this air then heats up.As it does so, it expands. The result can be boiling water erupting over the edge of the pot several seconds after you've finishedfilling it - potentially while you're carrying it.So take care to leave an air gap between the top of the water and the rim - don't try to fill to the (inner) rim.Other than that, I bought only intending to use tea bags, but thought what the heck I'd give loose leaf tea a go, and I'm now a convert. You can't so much taste the difference going forwards to loose leaf - but when you try to go back to tea bags afterwards, you can then taste the plastic/paper of the bags. This tea pot doesn't drip if you pour straight. But if you don't hold it properly straight it can drip a little, though not too bad to be a major issue, unless you're pouring into a cup sat on a priceless antique, or similar.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase - I just make sure to leave ~1mm air gap at the top, and then it's fine.

This teapot definitely holds 1000ml ie. 1 litre, that is 4 standard teacups. It is the same size as all the other teapots and a standard tea cosy is a perfect fit. It is very well made, ie everything is properly welded together, (unlike the lousy cheap aluminium one that falls to bits !!!) This looks super. The strainer is designed for tea leaves, but a lot of tea in the UK is ground up like dust so it brews instantly. It's a very stable design, ie it won't fall over. I am very pleased with this teapot. The people who said it's very small are obviously insane. I'm surprised they were allowed out. !!!!.....0. 67 litre ??? What did they measure it with ????? The next size up is a catering teapot that holds about a gallon !!!A china teapot may look bigger but the china is about 1/4 inch thick all over. The stainless steel is about .5 millimeter so it's like nothing !!!!!

I really like this pot nevertheless it has a few shortcomings.First of all it's very interesting but the box says "1ltr", and the actual tea pot holds 0,75ltr (as I measured).Infuser is quite short - it reaches less then a half of the pot height so if you want to use the pot you need to pour always it's full capacity (sometimes I would like to use just half of it). It is not a problem however, if you use tea sachets. I'm also glad that I have only 0.75ltr as I couldn't be drinking 1l of tea every evening. The last is that the sphere at the top of the cap is also metal so after a minute of brewing it get very hot as the upper part of the handle - you need to be careful holding either of it.Otherwiseit is a really nice product and I still like it :-)

The teapot itself looks attractive, holds a litre which is a practical volume for 1-2 drinkers. It does not drip which is commendable as so many teapots do. Lid fits tightly and has a steam hole. There are some traces of solder around the handles/spout so I hope it will be durable even though this is not the travelling type of teapot .I have to say that the company that sells it, Grunwerg, makes a lot of its heritage and base in Sheffield so it is really a comedown to discover that this is not a British product but a made in China one, the price should therefore be cheaper.

Very happy with the teapot and use it most mornings. Perfect for two mugs of tea. Very easy to just empty the infuser out into the compost bin. Should be 5 stars, but just wish there was some way the infuser could be a little bigger. We sometimes like to add a bit of extra tea and re-fill the pot, but with some bulky tea leaves (like Earl Grey) it doesn't leave much room for them to move around. But the first brew is just fine.

This was closest to the one I remembered having tea in at 29 Georgian in Dublin, Eire. I ordered it and love it. Since it comes from UK it is a bit pricey to ship but I'm happy I did it for my cup of tea Plus a bit more. Its so shinney and retro looking I love it and like to display it and not hide it away in the cupboard.

This teapot is adequate for every day use. I have taken off a star because the infuser for loose tea leaves is not deep enough if you only want enough water for one cup. I am using an infuser that I kept when my old china teapot broke and it fits to the bottom of the pot and works perfectly.

Following a short and shattering experience with a glass teapot I bought this robust stainless steel replacement. Well proportioned, eye-pleasingly round and shiny it certainly is [and scores 5 stars because of it], but the claim that it holds a 1ltr is not demonstrated in reality!

Nothing to dislike. Smaller than our previous pot, worried a little, but in fact a full pot serves two good size mugs so both wife and I happy, in fact encourages us to reduce water in kettle, less energy use, so win win situation. Must get a smaller tea cosy.

Used for making tea. Some teapots don't pour well or the handle is too hot to hold. This teapot is excellent, nice pourer (doesn't drip), handle isn't hot. Ideal for two mugs of tea and can use teabags as well as removable infuser.

The tea pot is good quality it was just too small - returned easily and refunded swiftly(We use large mugs - sports direct size and this teapot half around 1.5 mugs, if you wanted 2 normal size mugs it would be fine)

Seems well made only issue is that the shape makes getting t bags out not so easy but importantly if you put decent tea in you get a decent cup, that might sound obvious but curiously not all pots manage that

Handsome looking teapot. Makes a lovely cuppa! (Well, two large breakfast mugs actually). Only criticism is the the lid knob tends to work loose each time it's used, but easy to tighten up again.

I love this teapot, perfect for peppermint and other loose tea leaves, with an excellent internal strainer. It is solid, looks good, keeps tea warm and is big enough to fill two large mugs.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my partner and he’s used it every single day since. Multiple times a day! Easily makes 3 cups of tea each time and very well made. Highly recommend!
