Item has been in use daily now for 2 years and still going strong.Despite originally ordering a black lid with stainless filter, I was sent a green lid with plastic filter - several contacts with customer services and we decided I should keep this one.I must say, I am not disappointed by the choice, the main body is still glass and the green is certainly not offensive - if anything people stop to ask what kind of coffee pot it is.Glass body and plastic lid are easy to clean. Depending on which variety of tea is used, tiny particles can get stuck in the filter - not in a way that affects the tea, but can be more involving to clean.While unit seems resistant to thermal shock,

This was bought as a Christmas present for a relative and it was extremely well received by not just the recipient, but the whole family! The glass body of the teapot is extremely stylish and it is really light, which is good especially when the tea pot is filled to the brim with water! Only one slight problem: the lid is firstly slightly loose and you must position it correctly so that you don't need to worry about the lid coming off when pouring. Also, the plasticky feel of the lid doesn't seem to quite fit with the rest of the glass product - however, on the whole, I'd wholly recommend it!

Makes lovely tea, but the lid and plunger are fragile and need treating with care. My first one broke in four days but the seller sorted me a replacement very quickly and have had no problems since. I think washing the teapot asap after making the tea will help keep it immaculate as I suspect the white plastic basket might stain if tea is left in contact for too long. However, I am very glad I bought it and it repays the extra effort involved with a wonderful cup of tea.

I was pleased with this teapot - I love Assam tea to the point that I import it from India!It was pure indulgence which got me to buy this specifically for Assam teapot. Definitely worth it!This pot (and the plastic infuser) work well. I like the look, although it feels a bit flimsy. Inside a good tea cosy the tea stays hot and delicious. The only problem seems to be I NOW have a tea cosy that doesn't inadvertently depress the plunger!

Sometimes l enjoy loose tea rather than teabags and with this teapot l can without tea floating around in my cup, because of the coffepot type plunger which pushes the leaves down and holds them down. Thumbs up to that and to the elegance of a lovely glass teapot.

If the plunger was metal it would have 5*. But its plastic. So not so good. But makes a nice cup of tea + you can stop brewing it once you get to the desired strength by pushing down the plunger. Being that its glass you can see how stewed your tea is too

Small in size but has 1L capacity. It's sturdy and infuse tea really well and keeps tea warm for a surprisingly long time. Second of the same one in the house only because I broke the last one.

Easy to use, easy to clean and far better than using a separate, "standard" tea infuser in your tea pot as it rarely allows any of the loose tea leaves to escape into the pot. Great buy.

Wonderful tea pot for loose leaf tea. Bought for my Dad for Christmas and he loves it. Wonderfully packaged and delivered super quick! Highly recommend!

Really like this as you can use teabags as well as loose tea, my only slight issue is you have to make sure the lid is secure as it can come loose,

Tea pot arrived well packed and on time. The tea pot holds more than expected. Central plunger works ok, but can stick if pushed down to hard.

My other Bodum coffee pots really were not up to coping with my loose tea so bought this on the Black Friday deal. it's great.
