What came was a "Digital Thermometer" Model DT-01B. It looks vaguely similar to the thermometer in the picture on the product page, but there is no writing on the purple end and it is smooth sided, no grip. Nowhere on the thermometer, the box, or the instruction leaflet does it mention Geratherm. The only thing that says Geratherm is a piece of paper that someone has taped over the old label on the box. Most annoyingly, what I've been sent will not switch from F to C. The instructions also say explicitly that it is not waterproof, whereas on the Geratherm website the Geratherm plus is listed as 100% waterproof.
