This Braun Digital Stick Thermometer came just in time as my little boy was feverish and the GP weren't able to give me an appointment. This device gave me exact readings of his temperature so that when I spoke to the GP, I was able to tell them his temperature. It was quick and easy to use.All you go is click on the on/off button, select your childs age, place under their armpit or tongue as advised in the booklet and within a few seconds you will hear a small beep. Take the thermometer out and your reading is displayed on the screen. Also comes with its very own lid to keep it clean. Very ideal if you have babies cos they wriggle a lot and this thermometer does not take that long to give readings.

Great light weight thermometer, perfect for little ones. Colour changing display is a great idea! You can also adjust the age range to get a more accurate temperature. Very quick results, within a few seconds. I have used this a few times now and it is very accurate. Only down side is the display is a little dull when selecting age range, it could do with being lite up for selection. Other than that a great little thermometer. Ideal for keeping in a hand bag or for the caravan etc. I would reccomend this to friends and family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this to replace an old glass thermometer as an easy way of monitoring my temperature during the coronavirus outbreak. I've used it every day for a while now and it is easy to use and consistent albeit not reading exactly the same as my old one. As an older user I find the age indicator unnecessary but it would be very helpful for use with children I'm sure. The side switch is slightly awkward to operate but that's a minor quibble. It is good value and very useful.

The thermometer reads quickly which and much quicker than our two previous thermometers - handy when trying to take the temperature of a wiggly toddler. It also has a flexible tip - again handy when dealing with wiggly children as there is less chance of jabbing them in the eye etc. by accident.The instructions are slightly confusing, but using the thermometer is actually very straight forward. Seems to work well so we're happy. And it was a third of the price.

I got this thermometer just when I had a baby and this was so helpful. It has 3 different settings. One for newborn to 2 months, 3 months to 36 months and the last temperature setting is for 36 months to adults. Based on the temperature it flashes colors on its screen which shows whether it's dangerously high or normal. It gives a reading fast and is very easy to clean. Would definitely recommend. I’m so pleased I found this thermometer with age precision. It’s easy to use and super easy to adjust the age. It’s so helpful to know what is a normal reading for each age range. It’s easy to store in the changing bag and even the grandparents were able to operate it when they were visiting. This is the 2nd time we're purchasing this product due to us losing the first one. We also have another temp checker but unreliable, this however is highly reliable and extremely easy to use considering we having a wiggly little boy. We've been using this product use after birth and have stuck with it as its reliable especially when he feels a little too warm. Overall a solid and dependable purchase and we would not be without one.

It's a really quick and seems pretty accurate result. It's really good to have a thermometer which takes about 6 seconds to give a reading, especially when using it on a young child. The colour coded readings are really good too (green is fine, yellow medium temperature and red high temperature) and these are based on the age of the person. Really easy to use. Great product. This thermometer requires you to choose the age group it is used on.This seems like a positive feature. However, after the second or third time, it becomes really irritating. It seems impossible to just use it without selecting how old you are.I know what temperature I should be. Please let me measure it without having to press buttons unnecessarily. BTW, I bought this model because it was the only one available.

Excellent idea for a thermometer. It is very convenient knowing that while my temperature my be a little high, a child could be running a fever, using one thermometer for the entire family is brilliant.It is quick coming up with a result. My only concern is the very loud beep ot gives off. I have sensitive eardrums and tinnitus. The beep actually hurt my ear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Due to the ongoing pandemic crisis, I thought it would be a good idea to get a simple to use thermometer. This particular product is very simple. You set the age group on the LCD panel, sterilise the node and put it under your tongue. It beeps when it has an accurate reading and can tell you via a colour code if all is okay. It is very simple to use and highly accurate. I am therefore happy to recommend it.

I've had a few thermometers in the past and they have worked ok but not been too accurate but this Braun thermometer is different it is very accurate I've used it a few times on my 4 year old boy when he has been unwell and am very impressed with it it's very easy to use and the display is clear and easy to read I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Does the job very well. Having experience with the ear thermometer, I appreciate this one very much, and do not trust the former.The only impracticality is that once I switch it on, I am supposed to choose the age of the person and then using immediately. BUT you cannot see the age on the screen in the dark, so if my child is sleeping I just guess click the age in the dark room and use the thermometer.

My son had a cold and seemed to have quite a high temp. We did several tests and it always lit up between green and amber he now fees better and its showing just green. We tested it on the rest of the family and we all read green, seems easy to use and the colour code features are a handy addition. Not certain on the accuracy but seems to work fine.
