Fantastic. We have a Maine coon, who gets very notty, especially around his bottom.He hates being brushed or clipped around that area. He’s a nightmare.I use this just to stop him getting butt locks, and it works a treat. He still doesn’t like it. But this is quick and easy and I don’t have to hold him down and worry about catching his bits with scissors. Best purchase and made our life a lot easier

This device is very very good at either removing lugs of hair (gently does it) or more importantly stopping lugs of hair forming in the first place. Much more efficient than a standard comb. Our bedlington whippet has lovely long hair with a soft under coat. The soft undercoat easily matts with the longer hair. This device has transformed him into a stunning pup again. No lugs or matts.

I bought this to help with the fur mattes on my Persian Chinchilla, and although I found it really easy to use and a great way of breaking down the bulk, my cat groomer told me off for using it! She said it was too harsh for my pets coat and would not recommend it, however personally I think it was great for the knots and sporadic use!

We have 3 long haired cats who do get knots. This is very good as part of our Firminator collection and is very good at removing matted fur. Unfortunately none of the cats enjoy being groomed, I believe that is more to do with our lack of training than the product.

Tried many Simular but it just tugged at the cats fur, this was a Godsend, I have a long haired Cat who's fur gets matted easily, she hated getting groomed but managed to sit with me for 30mins, got most of the matted fur and seemingly painless, worth every Penny.

This comb/brush easily cuts through mats of hair in my long haired cat, you repeatedly draw the comb through the coat of the cat and it slowly breaks down the matted hair, you need a patient cat and may have to persevere but eventually the knots will be removed.

Really pleased with this - I have a long haired cat and he’d managed to get a few mats. I’d always tried to get them with scissors, which was difficult on my own. This comb made it much easier as he just thought he was getting a usual brush.

This removed all the matts from my persian cats coat. Does he like it? Nope, but he tolerates it long enough to do the job. The adjustable feature is genius, works very well and easy to do one handed so the cat doesn't run away!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but totally recommend this item for large clumped matted cat fur. Tried many cat brushes before, but nothing removed them. My cat hates being brushed still, but at least this removed her matts.

Furminator tools are top of my list of grooming tools for longhaired cats (and dogs). My Persian has a very heavy coat and these items are brilliant for keeping him tangle free. Other similar products barely skim the surface.

This is the best example of this kind of dematting tool I’ve encountered. My cat’s not keen and is frankly past help this year without a full shave, but I’m more hopeful for next year with this gadget.

My old girl is 17 and her fur started to mat and this product has really helped. I was dubious before purchasing as it seemed to cheap compared to pet shop price, and now I have all of them.

The Adjustable dematter tool is very good to get rid of all matting, it is very good on the cats that we own.It does not hurt them and it helps us with in grooming the two Maine coon cats

Have a 17 year old semi-longhair cat and works well removing the knots although the cat's not very impressed! Wish I had found it years ago.

Very good, I tried it as soon as it arrived and does a great gob, without cutting or ripping the hair, my persian cat didn't protest it ?
