Here’s the thing. I discovered this brand and even though I’m a grown woman, I thought it was adorable. I wanted a backpack and like this one’s elegant simplicity. When it arrived, I loved the size and style but when I wanted to use it, I noticed the straps were very tight. I noticed it was an adjustable strap and set out to lengthen them. An hour later, after a few YouTube videos I realized I was actually doing it right but the straps are just not long at all. I had price compared this bag and everyone listed it as “mini”. Except at the Bag’s original site. The company itself does not list a “mini” bag. The smallest version, this one right here, is called “kids”. To me that explains everything.

I have the Kanken no.2 which is great, but sometimes you need something smaller. Opted for the mini no.2 in all black. Looks really smart and somehow still packs a bunch of stuff in there. You still have the 2 side pockets in the side and one at the front, although smaller as this is the mini version. Great for summer or when you don’t want to carry a normal size backpack with you. 1 star off for the price although you are paying for quality (the no.2 range all have the G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco material) and the name brand.

Very small for an adult even though it’s a mini. I’m 5’11” and slim. I thought I could use this instead of a pocketbook hanging on my sore shoulders. The straps are so small you can’t put on back. There’s a handle but I don’t want to hold anything. So I returned it for the black No. 2 edition which is larger but not as big as the lap top No. 2 edition.

It fits all the usuals we bring with the 2 year old perfectly, e.g. nappies, wipes, water bottle and etc.It looks very cool and matches all sorts of clothing, I'm no fashion expert but the photos approved my point.The build is fantastic, all the details you cannot fault. The materials used look very sturdy too.

This is my everyday work bag. As a middle-aged professional I like the upgrade from the usual Kanken: the leather trim and all black materials. It is casual but not sloppy looking. The mini size gives it a true handbag vibe. It doesn't look or feel like a clumsy backpack.

Love this bag! Amazon’s as the only place I found black on black. This was my first Kanken so when I got it I looked at a YouTube video and showed you how to tell it if was authentic. There’s 10 markers and this bag had them all!!!!

My daughter loved this bag. She has wanted one of these bags for the longest time. This is a style she has not seen in any store.It was delivered on time, with no issues.
