My son was very excited when he saw this game that he got for his birthday. However it is rather difficult for him to play with considering he can't read and so he can't understand the instructions very well. I have shown him what to do so he is learning slowly with it but it will take a little time. He gets bored of it easily down to this but I know it will become a favourite once he figures it all out. He does continually ask for the water game which is a game where he has to put out fires - this will help with his dexterity and fine motor skills. So I have given it 4 stars as it is difficult for the age range it is aimed at but it will become a fab wee game for him eventually.

My son is 3 1/2 and to be quite honest some of the games are quite hard for him even in the easiest setting. On the other hand we like a challenge and some of the games he couldn't do in the beginning within 1 week of playing he has worked it out. This game will be with him for a good few years since there are 3 different difficulty settings and some of them I even find hard and I'm considerable older than him. Well worth buying if you look for a collection of short games that will be enjoyed over years to come as the game grows with the child!!!

Bought for my 3 yr old for Xmas, he has enjoyed playing it but has struggled with some of the games, my 6 yr old daughter has probably played it more! It helps if you can read the description of what to do, if I am not with them when they first played it they couldn't work out how to do some of the games but after playing a few times they are getting better & enjoying it more.

I bought this game for my 4 and a half year old son who loves Fireman Sam. He finds it very easy to do and there are lots of games on it that he likes, e.g. spot the difference, pairs. Would definitely recommend for young children 3+ - one of my better DS games purchases!

This is a good little game with lots of different activities for the kids. Some of them actually make them think too, like spot the difference, memory & recognition game.My 4 year old son loves it and so do I as he has finally stopped playing Super Mario!

I bought this game for my 4year old boy, he is able to complete the little games but thought it would be more like one big adventure with Fireman Sam leading the way. Its more spot the difference activities. Its ok and he likes it.

Bought this for my 3 year old nephew as he was desperate to use my 3DS. He picked this up very quickly and constantly asks to play the game. Spoilt little boy even managed to persuade me to buy him his own DS. Thank you

This was for my lad who generally follows this type of game easily. It has kept him busy, but there are not many variations on it....just repeatimg what you have already done. However, it has been enjoyable.

bought this as Christmas present for my Grandson. He had his firstNintendo DS Lite for Christmas, so i got him this game to start hisgames collection. He loves it. Great service from Amazon as always.

nice game both my boys love it - 8 yrs and 3 yrs. 3 yr old needs a bit of help with the reading involved but overall I find it more educational than most of the other psp/nintendo games available.

this ds game is fantastic because it has so many exciting games to play. my favourite game on it is sodookoe which is called 'NORMAN!' in the game. Good for 4 - 10 yirs i think. by Noah hwo is 6.

Bought for my 3yr old who loves fireman sam - she really enjoyed this and could do most of the games without much help or without mum having the check the instructions. def. worth the money.

I bought this for my little boy (3 years). He needed a little explaination of the games but then plays quite happily on his own. My 6 year old daughter likes to play some of the games too.

This game was bought for a 4 year old and I thought it would be easy for him, he struggled to start with but persevered and now is far better and quicker at it than me! He loves it.

Bought this for my 3 year old nephew and he loves it!! Jus beware tho, there is another game out there and it is a fire fighter called Sam. Not the real Fireman Sam!
