I wish this wasn't so much for a chunk of plastic! I wish it wasn't Festool (not a great fan of over priced cult brands where a whole lotta money goes into marketing hype). But, but, BUT this works so flipping well. Got it holding down stuff on my old Metabo chop saw (had to ream out the hole for the existing piece of rubbish screw-type hold down clamp, no biggie) where it speeds up things enormously, and means that safety measures are always taken because it takes no time to implement. Genius. Now I just have to steal the cam idea for home-made jigs and clamps. Thanks, Festool.

It’s great really, but tends to get a little jammed raising and lowering plus occasionally swapping sides of the saw. The top green pull knob came unstuck on both of mine almost instantly. It is of course ridiculously expensive for what it is, but hey, that’s Festool right? Best clamp for the best saw.

Expensive for what it is, but hey ho, that's Festool for you.But the product is brilliant, super quick to adjust, and holds tight.I'm using it on a large dewalt sliding mitre saw, fits perfect without any modifications.
