Very speedy delivery. Easy assembly, the top section has tabs which clip in place on the base section. There are pre-drilled holes and screws are supplied to secure the two halves. A removable draining tray is provided which sits in the base section. The sliding doors simply fit into channels, make sure the doors are positioned BEFORE securing the two halves! The doors don`t slide too smoothly but this hasn`t caused us any problem. When the doors are in the closed position a metal clip is supplied to clip across where the doors meet in the middle. We found the clip to be a bit useless to be honest. Once closed, each door has a section at the end which clips onto the crate. We have a four month old Basset hound who fits quite easily through the doorway at the moment but I do think it may be a bit on the small side once she`s fully grown. That said, too big an opening may allow a dog to turn back out again too easily to try and prevent being placed into the carrier. There are two lidded compartments in the top section of the crate which are really useful, our flexi-lead fits very easily in one. We have a 2010 Freelander 2 and the Atlas 100 fits perfectly in the boot and we haven`t found it necessary to secure it once in position. Due to the height of the carrier your view out the rear window, whilst not completely obscured, is restricted. The carrier will be very easy to clean. There are carry handles moulded into the top section of the carrier. We`re really pleased with the Ferplast Atlas 100 and will be using it as a car carrier and also as a crate in our tent when camping / in cottages on weekends away. This will not however replace our indoor crate as I personally think it`s a bit too enclosed for permanent use as an indoor crate and whilst high / long enough is not as deep as our indoor crate. All in all very pleased with the Ferplast Atlas 100.

I purchased this crate as sadly my small Boston Terrier (18mths) has started to have seizures and as she is a chewer we do have to crate her on the few occasions that we have to leave her to go shopping, appts etc and she is crated overnight. I have always used a wire crate but am concerned that she could damage herself if she were to fit/seizure when we are not around. The opening on the door is halved because of the way the crate opens which is not a problem for us as she is small. I have managed to fit on the screw type water bowl but again this does make the opening a bit smaller and the bowl tips forward at a funny angle but still gives her enough water for the amount of time that she would be crated for.I guess this crate as it was primarily designed for travel did not have enough thought put into it regarding fixing a water bowl so this would be my only criticism. There is a good depth in the base part therefore it you need a crate for the same purpose as myself it is a good choice as I feel it unlikely she would be able to catch her legs in it as she could if it were a all wire crate.

I bought this as a carrier for my group of three rabbits (two medium, one large/giant) and would really recommend it.It's very solid and well made and the size means that the rabbits can fully stretch out so it can double up as a bed area in a shed or for house rabbits.the large front opening means it's very easy to reach in and get the rabbits out, it's also less stressful for them than someone reaching in from above. My rabbits will also happily hop in to this carrier which they wouldn't do with the traditional type. The tray in the bottom is fantastic for rabbits as it keeps them dry if they pee during the journey. The only issue I did have that isn't obvious from the photo is that the top actually screws in to the bottom rather than clipping on.That means if you ever want to remove the doors, or take the top off for any other reason, it's not a one minute job. Also, while my boyfriend can easily carry this I would struggle to carry it very far.

I hunted high and low for a pet carrier that would fit in both our cars (SAAB 93 sportswagon and Golf) and that was big enough for comfort for our 10 month old Irish Terrier, Murphy, to move around. I initially ordered the Atlas 80 but returned it as I felt it too small. On our recent caravan holiday he spent the night cozy in in the awning in his Atlas 100 (with the addition of a memory foam dog bed - lucky woofer!). Anyone considering ordering one of these carriers be it Atlas 80 or 100 - I personally would go for the larger! An Irish Terrier is considered a medium dog but because of the compatments (which are great for storing leads, poo bags etc in) he couldn't stand up or turn around in the Atlas 80.Murph loves his carrier soo much we are now using it in the house instead of his large metal crate. It is great for keeping the mud out the boot of the car and we clean it by hosing it down - all in all an excellent purchase!

This fits into my current model Skoda Octavia hatchback very nicely with rear vision unimpeded. Well made although the sliding doors are a little difficult to move and entry a little restrictive but these are ideal in a hatchback with a higher boot lip. The whole unit is easy to move in and out of the car and not only keeps the car clean but is more dog friendly than an open cage. The divider is useful to provide smaller initial accommodation if you have a puppy - shame it does not come as standard. This size (Atlas 100) would not be big enough for a large male German Shepherd and the low height may be a problem with taller breeds. It cannot be used as an animal carrier and does not fold away like a wire cage.Finding somewhere to put when not in use could be a problem if you don't also use it as an indoor refuge for your dog.Don't pay too much - prices vary and your favourite store may not be the cheapest.

I had some car seats for my 3 Lhasa Apso pups which worked well for a short while, until they started to grow. As I often do long journeys I needed something to keep them comfortable & most of all secure. This Atlas car 100 Pet Carrier has been fantastic. The size and shape, with the sloping walls, mean it fits very well into my boot (Kangoo) and the back passenger seats are not pushed forward as some more "square" carrier models can do;the carrier is very strong with materials which make it very easy to keep clean. The pups are now fully grown and very confident travellers.I would would not hesitate to recommend this Pet Carrier and advise you to try it - you will wonder, as I did,why you didn't think of it before. I have absolutely no regrets and feel that my pets are safe in any eventuality.WELL WORTH the price!.

This carrier is great for the car as it keeps the muck off the interior of the vehicle as the doors are sliding its good for vehicles with a lipped boot, this size fits our two whippets perfectly and fits in an old Rav4, Citroen Picasso and a Skoda Octavia with no problems, we struggled with it in the X type Jaguar estate as it is quite high it did fit at a squeeze but no visibility at all through the rear windows as you'd expect. I have also used it as a whelping box with great success. The only draw back is it takes up a lot of space when not in use as it does not fold away like most cages but all round a great purchase.

I bought this to transport my cat from Oxford to Ireland. We went by ferry so she was in the car for over 8hours. This carrier was excellent as it allowed her room to stretch and turn around while her bedding could be placed on one half of the box. There was room for her food and water bowls too. The carrier is also large enough not to move on the back seat of the car although we did secure it with the seat belt just in case. We place cat litter under the floor grid but there was no need as cat slept for most of the journey and didn't need to go to the loo! Definitely worth the money and was delivered promptly.

This is a great dog box, it fits the three Italian Greyhounds and a Poodle cross comfortably. They can stand up and move around. I have a smaller version in my car because it’s a small car and is used for short journeys. The big one was for holiday use etc. I bought the large and it is substantial, the sliding doors are great for controlling who comes out and when, I had a very minor problem with mine and the company immediately sorted it out. Excellent to deal with. Air flow is good and my dogs are very happy in their large space. When I get a larger car it’s going in the car too!

This is the second one of these i have bought, i use it in the car for my two miniature poodles and also have one in the house now which they use as a bed(without the doors), they love it. It's easy to keep clean too which is a bonus and the handy compartments are great for storing, treats, spare lead, toys etc, would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a cage for the car as after wet, dirty walks all the muck is kept in the cage which makes for a clean car too.

this is my second ferplast pet carrier, I was so pleased with the first one that I bought for the car as it has I higher tray and keeps all the dirt and hairs in the bottom, I bought the second one for my house simply for the reasons I have just mentioned. Also, its so easy to wipe over with a bit of disinfectant to keep it smelling fresh and perfect for hotter weather as it is so well vented, even in the cold weather the tray is deep enough to add an extra blanket.

I brought this for my pug as with a seat belt he gets the car COVERED in pet hairs, and the little mesh carriers cause him to get too hot, and it looks much better than dog cages. This is perfect its big enough for him and it is well ventilated. He will be very pleased with it as he also likes his little dens! I did hunt around for ones similar to this and this seems to be the only one of its kind, it is reasonably priced and well worth it.

This is the best carrier i've ever owned especially with two dogs. I also have the partition as well. When the dogs get dirty and wet they can shake and drip inside the carrier without getting your car wet or dirty. This also applies to dog hairs, everything off the dog stays inside the carrier. easy to assemble and clean. I am now looking for another to use in the house but without the doors on.

We use this crate in 'medium' to transport our Breton spaniel when travelling, and as a dog bed both here and in holiday cottages. It's a brilliant thing - very sturdy. The top sections hold leads, food, bowls, etc, and the lift-out bottom layer is handy in case of 'accidents'. We stow ours under the stairs when not travelling and the dog just uses it as a bed. Recommended.

Purchased this after reading the metal fold-up crates can collapse during a crash. Solid construction with good access via mesh door. Useful storage in top for leads, dog waste bags, etc. Easy to clean as plastic. Door slides either way for access. One of our dogs doesn't like travelling but she seems fine in this crate. Ample size for two small dogs together.
