Bought this as a replacement for our small office. A major plus is it's much quieter than the other shredders we have had and seems more robust. It shreds well and looks like it will last longer than our last two that gave up the ghost after 18 months. I like the handle to lift off the heavy top. The only thing that would have made this a perfect 5 star would be wheels. It's not easy to pull it out from under the desk to use and empty it.

Very solid machine, easily deals with 5-6 pages at a time, apparently even with staples still attached, though I haven't dared test that yet. Probably the best shredder I have had yet, and I like the fact that it has an actual temperature sensor rather than just a time-out. Only reason for not giving five stars is that it needs oiling quite regularly, which is a chore and messy.

Neat and suitable desk side size. Has 3 minute run-auto cut off but so far not a problem - you can shred a fair amount in 3 minutes! My machine did arrive in a carrier damaged pack, the outer box was not filled and the makers pack was able to move around, its weight obviously ruptured the packing case.

Delighted with the machine,very prompt delivery,my only criticism is that although the cutter head has a handle to lift it with,there is no mechanism to secure the head to the bin, consequently the bin could benefit from handles thus enabling the whole unit to be lifted.

Excellent shredder. Good fit between shredder module and bin. Other reviewers mention noise but most shredders are noisy. Easy to use . Buy the oil though, with the machine, as you will need this almost from the start and mineral oils are not suitable.

Have had this only since early November 2016 but so far it has worked faultlessly and hasn't overheated once yet. It seems very efficient although it is rather noisy I feel. I don't have much use for credit card or CD slot but it's a useful addition.

This gobbles up paper fast, with less paper dust than I have seen in other machines. It is quite warm after a full bin, so I would not try to use it for more than 5mins at a time, and wait until it is cold before trying again ( several hours )

It's great. I have had it for almost a year and no issues, and I shred regularly. I also bought the oil and I oil it every time I empty it (or at least every 2 times I empty it) because that's what it says you're supposed to do. It's great.

I find that with continuous use you'll get about 15 minutes of use before it will trigger the red overheat light. At this point it will stop until the unit has cooled down. With intermittent use then it continues without a problem.

Very large and sturdy compared to it predecessor. Eats multiple pages easily, stapled or not, and I like the fact that it can do CD's and credit cards as well.I would recommend buying the oil with it to keep it running smoothly.

Bought this several months ago and it's still working like new. Great product. I shred a lot as I work from home. Very pleased with the performance and it never stops when overheated. I'm really pleased with it.

Amazing shredder not only for everyday use. I shred lots of documents on a weekly basis, it doesn't heat up too often, made from high quality materials and it's easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

Very good as expected from Fellowes. Was a replacement for older unit passed on to kids! We wanted the cross cut now and it does the job well. Only thing is it is a bit noisy! Definitely recommend.

Purchased to replace a machine I had for a number of years.This is a great machine. Solidly built, large bin and shreds paper/credit cards etc into little pieces.I would recommend this machine

I bought this to replace one that I had been using for several years, which had been damaged in an accident. I have found this model perfectly adequate for the purposes of a small business.
