This was bought for me as a Christmas present and I had to get a 2nd one due to (myself) breaking some parts, more on that later. The model itself is very intricate and detailed and comes in several pre-cut flat sheets. The model parts need to be carefully popped out of the sheets and assembled as per the instructions.The instructions themselves are highly detailed and there is also links to online site which shows the model fully assembled so that you can get more detail on how the parts should be assembled.However be warned the instructions clearly state this and there is not argument that this is an advanced model. It's not intended for beginners, of which I am!

I've built a few of these models in the past so knew what to expect.Decided on this one as it's described as one of the most difficult and I needed a challenge during the Covid 19 lockdown. I was worried it would be frustrating but while not easy it was ultimately satisfying to build. To be honest I found the lunar module harder than this.Don't try to complete it in one go, spread it over a few days. Take your time and study the instructions carefully as it's easy to make a mistake and the head, legs and arms could end up pointing the wrong way. Only issue I had was one tab on a gold piece so had to glue it into position. The finished model looks great.

My girlfriend got me this as a present and was a little worried when she saw "Not for beginners. Advanced model kit" written on the packaging.I used to do a lot of modelling when I was a child so although I had not made any of these metal craft models before I thought I'd give it a go!There are some extremely fiddly parts and I almost snapped the metal a few times due to pushing a little too hard but I persevered and now have an awesome Iron Man statue standing on my desk!This is an amazing little product and I'd highly recommend it but! Try one of the simpler star wars branded kits before going on to this one! Advanced model kit is 100% right!

Well it's taken a while but it's done! I didn't want to leave a review until my husband had completed it.The model is very cleverly put together. Sadly some of the instructions are out of order so you finish up dismantling a few steps to put bits on. The end result though is great. The paint does tend to come off easily which is a shame considering the item wasn't cheap. Bits are small and fiddly but that helps to make it more challenging.All in all very happy, just lost a star due to paint wearing off!

I LOVE building these and have built a 8 different models. But here’s what you need to know. The metal is thin and delicate. The assembly process can be fiddly and complicated. A high level of dexterity is required and a lot of patience. I would recommend buying wire cutters, tweezers and needle-nose pliers. The instructions are clear and illustrated and Metal Earth can answer can of your questions if you’re confused. I get such a sense of accomplishments and love how difficult they can be to build!

It was my first metal puzzle and I loved it, it was not very easy specially for beginners, but I like challenging things. The final result its pretty cool. Be aware that you will need a pair of tweezers, to put the pieces together, otherwise you won't be able to do it.If you like a good challenge I totally recommend it!

This was my 14th of these models, glad it was too as this is a much more difficult build than the Star Wars kits I have previously done, due to advanced techniques and the size and amount of small pieces. However, the finished model stands above the others, both in size and detail!!! Just don't make it your first!!!!

As previously mentioned in other reviews, the instructions are somewhat muddled. Hubby had to deconstruct parts to construct the latter stages.. hence a little confusing/fiddly. But, overall the model is great. It looks much more expensive when built and the colours and details are amazing!

I couldn't say it's easy to assemble but that's the fun!!! It's a really hard build, took longer than any other metal sculpture iv done which was really satisfying and the end model is fantastic. I bought and built it for my partner and to say he was impressed is an understament

Took a while but stunning when finished ❤️❤️ I had done some easier types before and this does take a lot of patience - I am 15 so I’m sure more experienced people could finish a lot quicker

Not for beginners. After hours of bad words being muttered you end up with a fantastic model. Good size, this is my 12th model it will test you. Good fun

Very happy with my purchase. A little bit difficult to construct, quite fiddly but as expected. Looks just like the picture. Very good quality.

Amazing detail and a rewarding build. Not for beginners. A few reviews say it’s flimsy and the parts break easily. Seemed fairly robust to me.
