Purchased this Faithfull toolbox to replace a plastic toolbox in such a pitiful state that, for at least five years, it has only contained two massive spanners, some rusty precision screwdriver bits, four blue baby spoons (nobody I know has a young son), two tile drill bits, a mess of screws, picture hooks and IKEA flatpackery. Creepy DIY graveyard.When I saw this red metal toolbox I squealed. The same cantilever design as my Dad/ Grandad's trusty BLUE toolbox but RED for fire, courage, blood, rage, action. A toolbox for the twenty-something me who laid a circular patio by herself (like tiling, but without gravity). A toolbox for the forty-something me who has never changed a plug or put up a shelf.

After a year of moving to a new-build house, and plaster board now holding no fears for me I finally got round to replacing my canvass 'handbag' type tool bag.This box is great, it opens to display three layers of compartments, everything visible, no longer am I searching around for screwdrivers, pliers, hanging from light fittings trying to find brown electric tape, it's all there. Nice large compartment at the bottom for the bigger tools / studfinders etc.Lifting the handle automatically slides the compartments together. Brilliant.So much time saved hunting for the right tool, and I no longer have to apologise to the children for my language.In short : great useful well made toolbox at a

I'm really happy with this tool box. Great price for this style compared to others I have seen. Before this purchase my tools were randomly placed around my house and I always struggled to find things...and I always seemed to misplace my tape measure! Now everything is kept altogether and it's really nice to have everything organised. It's a really good size and in the bottom compartment I can fit my two hammers and rubber mallet and I still have plenty of room remaining. I struggled to find a smaller size toolbox that would fit a standard size hammer so I'm really pleased I came across this one. Highly recommend.

The worst thing about most modern tool boxes is they may have a tough durable body, but the handle is plastic and on more than one occasion the handle has snapped clean off the box when carrying. So I opted for this retro tool box (which is alot cheaper than many others on the market) One durable box, which for its price is everything I need and want for a toolbox, very versatile and a great size.

I have previously bought plastic tool boxes and the hinges gave always broken. Decided this time to go for this classic toolbox on the advice of friends who have had them for years. I'm really pleased with this box as it has plenty of room and makes finding the tools I want so much easier as I can divide them between the compartments. I would certainly recommend.

Pretty neat toolbox. The casing could be a bit thicker, but I guess at this price I can't complain. The bottom compartment is tall enough to fit a 400ml WD-40 (the large, not the small one) rolled on its side with another 2cm clearance on top. The mechanism works smoothly and the metal is well cut and shaped, with no edgy points. Hope this helps you.

Recommended. Got my husband this for his birthday as an extra gift. Really nice tool box. Big enough. Sturdy. Nice colour. Ideal. Can't fault it really. Needs a lock or tie of some sort for the top / lid as doesn't fully close, shame a lock wasn't included. But still for the price it's well worth it. Very handy box. Brilliant.

was bought for a present not sure if it will stand the wear an tear of normal use so cannot say how long it will last .the item is well made sturdy an has ample tray compartments so hopefully will be a hit with the DIY man of the housethe price was spot on an the package good an delivery was on time over all a good buy

My set of tools kept on expanding and at some point I ended up keeping them in one of the drawers. That was obviously not the best thing to keep them in so decided to get this tool box. It gives enough space for almost everything and yet is compact enough to hide it away under the stairs. Very happy with it.

Got this for my hubby and he loves it. It is well made, with 4 cantilever drawers. It is a little smaller than I expected but that's my fault for not checking the size properly, but himself says it's perfect as it is not too heavy to carry round and fits everything he wanted to fit in it. Great Product!

This is the first time I've replaced my tool box in many years. The new one is just the right size and the compartments are just the right depth and width to fit all my tools, screw boxes, etc. in comfortably. So far, the cantilever opening system works perfectly. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.

Much smaller than expected, feels a tad flimsy so wouldn’t use it for heavy tools, but certainly great for the small bits and pieces / accessories ... like jig saw blades, tape, electrical pliers, staples, etc.Easy to open / close but gets heavy quickly once filled.

Tough as old boots and just as reliable. Mine is just starting to rust slightly after fifteen years of in and out neglect - it's taken absolutely everything I can throw at it and laughed it off. It's not a flashy, stackable case but it'll do the job and keep going.

Fair price, nice bright colour, and it holds my bike maintenance tools. Maybe it won't last forever if you are dragging it around every day, but for the hobby mechanics who will keep it mostly in his garage, this is perfect.

Great kit for taking on jobs when I can't take my roller cab. Pretty classic design. The paint comes off with BCE if you have to wash off the artistic drawing of gentlemen vegetables someone drew on with permanent marker.
