Good sturdy box, arrived undamaged. Plenty of storage. Handle feels solid, strong enough i can use as a hopup at over 13stone, not meant for that but its handy. I now have atleast 20+kg of tools in it and the metal clasps are still solid secured when transporting.Reason for the 4star is the holding part that comes with it inside for the pliers, chisels etc dosent fit my stanley chisels there just a bit tall, but iv filled them with other tooling anyway so not a big gripe. More than happy with the toolbox. I bought the 26" so i can fit a handsaw in it otherwise i would have got the 23/24" version. Quite pricey but id say for the storage and sturdiness, worth it.

so this product is strong enough for its purpose, the closure clamps are metal and keep the lid firmly shut, i wont be worried aboit the clamps, i think id be more worried about the hinge side at the nack which is still made from plastic...i use this for bigger stuff like grinders and saws and hammers, for me this kinda makes the tray bit useless but each to their own i guess.bottom line is... if you want 'amazing' then you have to pay 500-1500 for a metal roller bearing professional toolchest... if you want a good but cheap toolbox capable of fitting 'bigger stuff' in then this is definitly 'decent' for the price

A product that will do the job intended.The metal fastening latches are probably the high light to this box as they fasten tight and are made very well. The base of the box could be better constructed from the finishing within the box however it is sturdy.I would say this product is worth trying to see in actual form rather than via just on-line shopping to get a real feel for it. The main reason being the painted colour scheme.The images of this box lead me to believe that the silver around all four sides of the box to be of galvanised or some form of metal, where as, the silver shown is in actual fact plastic.

What a size. Full 26" Stanley Fatmax toolbox. Great for bigger tools. Firstly toolbox is plastic and not metal as it looks but i knew that anyway. Big fairly sturdy and sufficient. There is adjustable locators inside so i wonder if you can purchase holders for this as it comes with one i presume is for screwdrivers. Overall pricey for what it is but if like me get on a sale definately worth the purchase..Wish i had ordered more to replace my 4 other 19" Stanley boxes 5 stars well happy

Fantastic box. I use it daily and it's taken an absolute beating over the last few months and still isn't showing any signs of giving up! I've used mostly Stanley boxes for probably a decade now, and they've yet to let me down.It is largely made of plastic, so I'm not sure I'd recommend standing on it regularly, or for long periods of time, but I use it on occasion if somethings just out of reach and it's holding up - the plastic is probably a lot stronger than I imagine it is!

Used to carry all my model aeroplane gear to the flying site. Very pleased with the purchase. It is strong, well designed, the lid catches are very secure, it even seems to seal well when closed, so my model aircraft fuel does not cause a pong in the house. Plenty strong enough to sit on too, which is a bonus. All good !!

See that grey colour - you think it's metal? It's not. It's plastic...Big enough to carry a lot, and seems sturdy enough, but the tray which sits on a lip around the rim of the box is flimsy and cheaply moulded - it flexes and falls into the box.Happy enough at the special price of £11 (which took 2 months to turn up).

Very sturdy toolbox! it holds my hawk, 3 trowels, bucket trowels, lump hammer and bolster etc: and all my small fat max tools on shelf! could put screw drivers etc in the little slots, think that's why it don't have a fool shelf on top! only tools i use are fatmax and marshalltown! all in all its well worth the money!!

Use this in the plumbing trade and it's gotta be one of the best there is.Love the fact you can stand on it if something is just out of reach also the fact that it holds the disposable gas bottles upright without falling over due to the lid design.Plenty space...

Great handy toolbox. It’s lightweight due to being portable. Not sure how sturdy it will be over time with it being plastic. The walls are not particularly thick even though the lid is very sturdy. Good value for money for a good value toolbox

Good size, no tapered sides so you can make use of all its space. The one I received had VERY stiff latches hence four stars instead of five. I'm hoping they loosen just a bit (not too much!) over time though, so I am still happy with it.

Deep, and wide, I'm a plasterer and I can fit my trowels and spatula as well as tin snips, hammer, screwdrivers etc and still have room for my small radio and dust pan and brush, it's the best tool box I've ever bought

Ideal tool box for hobby DIY'er. Heavy duty hinges. Plenty of storage space unlike my old plastic box which had a big draft taper angle reducing space. I shopped around and paid under £30 maiking this a bargain

Im a tool nerd. Had lots of boxes. This is the best yet. Good lock and seal, Strong, Looks good, nice tray and a smart little vertical compartment at one end that holds a few drivers and pliers. Recommended.

The box is well made and up to the job, the catches are a bit stiff, but it's Bob on, and stores my circular saw as it's deeper than some. It's up to some stick, well happy 10 out of 10. Thankyou.
