Bought this to either replace or compliment my trusty CK cable stripper. Whereas it's a lot lighter and sits in the hand better I would not pension off the CK, yet! I needed something that could be used to strip T&E when it's in a back box. It's certainly able to be pushed into the box and as it strips from the front, as to speak, it can do the job. Trouble is that it really seems to on its limit at 2.5 - 6242Y. Stripping the conductors singularly is not that bad but the outer insulation gives a feeling of 'is it going to break!' Only time will tell if it holds up.

These are only cost effective if you are an electrician etc and strip a lot of wires. I don't like the twist strippers as they can weaken the copper core and cause it to break if the wire is stressed. These strippers strip wires very smoothly without damaging the core both on solid and stranded cores. They do feel very fragile though but only time will tell. So, in summary, buy these if you want to be assured of the cable integrity once terminated and possibly save a whole lot of time by not having to fault find domestic electrical circuits.

It not that precise stripping and you can't use fuction more than one wire like weidmuller ,but the handling light and nice in hand .
