I clean and polish my own nails for over 20 years now. I just find it more convenient and way cheaper. After applying my nail polish I will always use a top coat because I feel that it makes the polish look better and shinier and it also makes the polish last longer.One thing I always look for in a nail polish or a top coat is their ability to dry the quickest time possible. Specially now that I have a toddler I cannot be “idle” for a long time waiting for my nail polish to dry.Well this top coat did not disappoint. I applied it after my nail polish and let it fry for 2 minutes. The description says it will be dry after a minute.

This Essie quick dry top coat is excellent. I have tried Essie products before and it is a brand that I like.Really quick and easy to apply, the brush has a nice shape and width to it to get one quick sweep over the nail. I got an excellent coverage and finish. As per the description it does dry quickly, nails were touch dry within minutes and fully dry in under an hour.The RRP is £9.99 which is about right for Essie but currently under offer (at time of writing this review) so even better value. This top coat works just as good as my preferred brands, at less than half the price of my usual high end top coat I will now be buying this instead. I expect this 13.5ml bottle to last a long time.

I usually use a separate top coat and then a setting spray but this product appealed as it took out a step, so that has got to be good. I put this on top of my Essie nail polish and within a couple of minutes my nails were set and I was good to go. The shape of the brush and the consistency of the top coat made it easy to apply and it gave my nails a lovely shine, making it look (almost!) professional. I did try it on top of a non Essie polish and it wasn’t as quick drying, but still worked as a good top coat. My nails are not great and have a few ridges but they looked smooth after application. I also used it on its own and it made my nails look a whole lot better and feel stronger,

The first time I used this I made the mistake of not letting my colour dry enough before applying it, and it didn’t end well. I’m not sure the instructions are particularly clear - they just say apply the speed setter over a coat of Essie polish. It just kinda all melted together before setting.But when the colour was touch dry and I applied this, it was great. Within a couple of minutes it was touch dry. But more importantly it did feel set, within 10 minutes. I could get on with my day - put my shoes on etc without worrying about denting it.It’s was super shiny without being really thick. It lasted pretty well, mainly I think because it sets so quickly!

I was really impressed with this top coat. It does everything it says and seems to be a great quality nail polish.The bottle is easy to hold and the brush is a nice flat brush that holds lots of the polish and makes applying it evenly a little easier.A little goes a long way and it covered my nails quickly and with little effort.The end result was perfect. My nails were much smoother and any streaks from the original polish vanished under this one. They also have a fantastic shine to them.There was no noticeable strong smell from the polish either which is also great.Overall I’m extremely happy with this and would 100% recommend it.

I've used TONS of speedy-dry topcoats through the years - some much better than others - as I get a bit twitchy sitting around waiting for my nails to dry. Now that I have time to wait (hello pandemic), I'm not doing my nails as much, so I pulled out some new polish and this topcoat to give it a try. And yes I am impressed! I found it was touch dry in less than a minute and I haven't had any noticeable smudging/pushing incidents with my nails. It maybe chipped within a day or so but that's usual for my peel-y nails so I won't hold that against it. Good quality is worth paying for!

I am not very patient in applying nail polishes, besides I have two small children and I don't have much time, generally, to take care of myself. This polish is what I needed. It is a top coat so it should be applied over the colored or base nail polish. It dries very quickly.It is transparent so it does not interfere with the colors applied to the nail, it does not make the nail polish opaque and it does not take away the shine, actually it is the opposite, it makes the nails visibly shiny.Price a bit high in my opinion but good quality.

I wanted to test this product to it's maximum potential, I used a cheaper every day nail varnish then applied this and was amazed with the results.Not only does the product dry your nail as described but it has a added feature of giving a high gloss even on cheaper non branded nail varnish.This will now become a staple part of my nail care and with no uv lamp required this just makes nail painting so much quicker and easier.Goes on easily and doesn't feel heavy or sticky, just like applying an 2nd coat of nail varnish, removes very well .

I’m not one normally for top coats on my nail varnish however when I saw this top coat available on Amazon Vine up for review I was interested to see if it made a difference to my nail varnish. I found it to be a fast drying formula with a smooth & glossy finish. It wasn’t too thick so it was easy to apply. It felt like salon quality & did help with the longevity of my nail varnish. Overall a good product, good value for money & very happy with the end result.

I love this product! No more smudged nails! If you are like me and are impatient when it comes to waiting for your nails to dry, this is the product for you. It is so easy to apply and not only does it mean your nails dry faster, but they look so much better as well. It gives a lovely shine and definitely gives a more professional look to nails. Will use this every time I paint my nails from now on.

Sets quickly and leaves a lovely shiny finish, no imperfections or waiting around for it to dry. You must wait until all your colour coats are dry before applying. Won't be indestructible when first applied so wait a bit for it to harden but it does lasts a good few days, it does it job at protecting the nails. Not sure how much quicker it is than normal top coats but it does the job.

The quick dry top coat is a lot more than just a quick dry top coat. I normally wear it over my nail polish to get some shine and it also helps to keep the nail color for more duration! A normal nail polish lasts for maximum 3-4 days. But after applying this top coat, the nail color easily stays for 6-7 days. The formula is really light and doesn’t makes the nail color look bumpy.

From previous experience I have learned that whenever a nail polish says it sets fast it is not always the case, so I wasn't expecting much from a top coat which states that it sets in under 1 minute. I tried it and decided to time how long it took to set and I have to say I'm very very impressed, why? It actually only took 30 seconds to dry! Now that is fast.
