As always with Essie - the bottle is a stylish square design and looks sturdy enough not to easily topple over when you’ve got it open and painting your nails.The consistency of the nail polish is good - not too gloopy and not too runny. However, when I painted it on my nails, even with very few strokes of the brush, the colour was very streaky. This happened on each nail I painted and I was very disheartened.I left it to dry (assuming I would have to immediately remove the colour) which it did in a decent amount of time. I didn’t go prodding at it to make sure it was dry, but neither did I notice that it was still soft to the touch when I next went to do something.I’m happy to say that once the colour dried,

I am quite impressed with this Nail Polish from Essie … it is reasonably priced, goes on smoothly without bleeding onto the skin around the nails, it is non gloopy and dries in about five minutes.I received the shade 121 Topless & Barefoot (which is a lovely shade of pale peachy pink) … for reviewing purposes.This nail varnish is a long wear chip resistant polish that is available in a good selection of colours … it is not overly thick but does give a good coverage with two coats and if you add an Essie Top Coat it should last almost a week … I found that it depends very much on what you are doing throughout the day, making sure that you wear rubber gloves if your hands are going to spend any amount of time in water.The nail polish was easy to apply,

I was hoping that this would be a great colour as I was really picky as to what sort of lilac polish that I wanted to get. I didn't want any greyish tone, I didn't want it veering into pink, nor into purple I didn't want it drab, I didn't want it too bright....I had looked at various reviews on the net and this sounded and looked pretty much what I wanted but I had been burned before so I waited and hoped that I had chosen well. Well it arrived today and I must say that the colour exceeded both my expectation and my hope. The picture doesn't begin to do it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous, a clear vibrant tasteful lilac that looks fabulous on.It did have that Essie streaky thing going on

My wife likes Essie nail-care products a lot so she has been pleased to be able to try this 268 Sunday Funday nail polish from the brand's Coral and Orange Shades range as it is probably not a colour she would have chosen for herself. This Essie range is described as having intense rich colour with high coverage, which my wife agrees with, and she finds this Sunday Funday shade a colour she likes more than she expected. Having had a shellac coating on her nails recently my wife needed a good quality nail product to use once the shellac had been removed and this long-lasting, easy to apply nail polish from Essie proved to be just what was needed,

My wife likes most Essie nail-care products so she was pleased to be able to try this Chinchilly Grey nail polish as it is not a colour she says that she would have chosen for herself. This nail polish is described as having a professional long-lasting, chip resistant formula with a high-coverage rich colour and glossy finish. My wife like the smooth easy application using the wide brush supplied and she then used her UV nail lamp to get faster results when drying. She found this rather neutral grey shade to be a colour she liked more than she expected, and having had a shellac coating on her nails quite recently she needed a good quality nail product to use once the shellac had been removed - this nail polish from Essie proved to be just what was needed.

This is the Summer Nudes Due kit.The polish.This is a polish that sets to give a gloss like finish without using a UV lamp for drying and hardening. There is 13.5 ml in the bottle. It comes in the normal essie twist design bottle.Application.It is easy to apply and dries evenly and very hard, glossy and long lasting.Durability.I did my nails in the morning and worked during the day and it did not chip or scratch. It seems very durable and resistant to the rigours of daily life. I had my hands in water a lot and that did not seem to matter.

My wife likes Essie nail-care products so has been happy to try this 64 Fifth Avenue nail polish from the brand's Red and Burgundy Shades range as it is a colour she would probably have chosen for herself. This Essie range is described as having intense rich colour with high coverage, which my wife agrees with, and finds this 64 Fifth Avenue shade a colour ideal for autumn seasonal wear. Having had a shellac coating on her nails recently my wife needed a good quality nail product to use once the shellac had been removed and this long-lasting, easy to apply nail polish from Essie proved to be just what was needed, and with a couple of coats applied it has given my wife's nails an attractive look with a high gloss shine.

Salt water happy appears to be way more blue-ish on the advertised photo & on photo in general (see attachment). In real life it’s more of a pastel blue with a purple undertone as others have mentioned, not baby blue at all. However, I’m still very happy with the quality of this nail polish, application was smooth and two coats + top coat have produced the attached result. My only critique would be that I noticed the price fluctuated which I found weird as the nail polish was sitting in my cart and a couple of days later when I was ordering it it was more expensive... not by much but still. I will be purchasing other Essie nail polishes as I love their colour range and high quality.I have since

The colour I received is “ballet slippers”, which is a very pale pink. Personally, I like it very much as I don’t really go for overly bright colours – but that’s very much down to personal preference. It comes in a standard Essie bottle (unlike the ballet nudes collection which come in a lovely, twisted bottle).I applied it without a base coat, and put on two coats (which is how I would normally apply nail varnish). I found it to be fairly thick; the first coat was a little bit streaky/patchy so I felt I needed a second coat; and it took quite a long time to dry completely. I like the design of the brush, which was easy to use and applied the varnish smoothly.It gives a lovely glossy finish.

I use ballet slipper as the white tip alongside madamoiselle in my french manicure. I’ve had my last bottle for ages (probably 3 years or so!) and it was starting to get thick and sticky, as if there were bits of cotton wool fibres in it. I ordered a little nervously as I saw one reviewer had a completely different shade delivered to her previous bottle, although I also noted that the top on that new bottle is also different to the previous one (whereas mine isn’t).Admittedly, the shade has undoubtedly changed, but not drastically, and if anything I actually prefer the newer one as it is just slightly more muted. Essie is a name well known in the nail polish arena. It is easy to apply, the nail polish always covers well. I have used Essie for many years, and am usually very happy with it’s coverage.This nail po,ish is part of the desert mirage collection. This is called ‘Lighten the Mood’. In the info package it is called a light ivory with sprinkles of sienna. It looks like a very light beige, so their description is pretty accurate. To complete my manicure, I buffed my nails, washed my hands in soapy water, dried and applied a base coat. I then applied two coats of the nail polish. I finished with a fast drying top coat. This nail polish has lasted for five days, no chips at all. The color is too light for me,

Beige nude is pink with a hint of beige. This is a tasteful shade because the hint of beige takes off the 'pinkness', and the pinkness stops it being boring brown. I really like this colour. It's easy to wear. This nail polish has a good coverage even with just one coat.Pearly white. It has reasonable coverage even if you only want to apply one coat. It adds a touch of elegance to the nail and isn't bright so that it begins to get on your nerves everytime you catch a glimpse of it. And, of course, when it starts to chip, isn't so obvious as with a dark colour. I suspect it won't stain the nail-plate either so I haven't bothered with a base coat, which makes it quicker to dry.

This is one of the few nail polishes I've tried that really go on smoothly & evenly. It has a good brush which is fairly standard but works well. The quality of the nail polish paint is such that the colour applies evenly as others I've tried apply patchy or thin/thick throughout the brush.This colour "fifth Avenue" is a gorgeous bright red, which I think is a true red. I like this colour on my toes for the summer as it looks good with sandals!It's good value for money as cheaper brands don't deliver.PS. on my hands, I got loads of chipping after one day. HOWEVER I WASH MY HANDS LOADS OF TIMES A DAY PLUS I ONLY APPLIED ONE COAT. But applied at same time as my feet, one coat is still in pretty good shape!
