Guitar strings are obviously open to personal preference. I used to be happy with cheap strings and plenty of fast fret to make them smoother, and cut down on the annoying scratchy sound you get when doing slides.After finally trying these Polyweb strings, I wish I had made the switch years ago. Not only are they even smoother than a liberal application of fast fret on normal strings, they also sound really nice too.It's a win-win for me, and I will keep on buying these from now on.

I have tried many types of strings, but I love the silent sound when doing slides, when using these Elixir strings. I also love the warm tone from new.

It's down to personal taste in the end, but for me this gauge & coating tick every box. Remember not to wipe them, or you'll pull the coating off.
