I felt that the X charger being purchased separately gives a more powerful charger unit with more endurance than if the charger was integral with with the buffer. I also have the vacuum cleaner attachment (see review). I found the endurance on the buffer was sufficient to carry out a complete standard wax and polish on my medium sized Alfa fast back estate. I have mainly used it for buffing off cutting compound, and particularly for applying and buffing T Cut after some respraying work. I would suggest some caution here that if the medium is applied to the mop head in a circle as shown in diagrams, the buffer can vibrate and osscilate very strongly and became virtually unuseable.

Very impressed with this piece of kit! Was a bit concerned initially with it being only single speed, but have just used it on part of my van and was no problem at all. I used it with G3 polish, which has a maximum recommend speed of 1800 rpm, but by keeping the polish damp, running at 2500 wasn't a problem and the finish was amazing. The machine is comfortable to hold, even when working on vertical surfaces, which isn't so much fun with the larger angle grinder type machines. I went for this particular model because I already have some Einhell power x-change tools, so already have battery and charger. As for some people complaining that it does not come with a battery and charger,

Works great belive its known as an orbital polisher because it spins in an orbit pattern as opposed to just spinning so cannot damage paintwork even in untrained hands,Range rover sports never looked so good save your money you would spend on hand car washes and get one

Excellent product fantastic quality makes easy work of polishing my which is large. A little disappointed that you have to purchase the battery separate, a part from that very pleased with my purchase.

Great polisher and use once a month. Battery life will last for 2 cars. Build quality of item appears to be good. Would recommend! Only disadvantage you can’t buy with the battery!

You can use the Einhell X type battery on drills, tyre pressure machine, mowers, strimmers etc. Real Quality

was going to polish car but ended up doing it by hand, it put it on but it would not polish if off
