I've had the cordless animal Dyson for about 4 years. I thought I had all the attachments and they've all been great. But I have just discovered the Flexi Crevice Tool. It has opened up a whole new world for me. It is a fantastic tool to have. The flexibility means I can direct the small brush on the end to reach into any angle or crevice whatsoever. Places I couldn't get to even with the Dyson flexible hose attachment. This Flexi Crevice tool is thin and the brush head is flat and small so it goes into all nooks and crannies. Like all round the wires at the backs of computers and printers and TVs. Inside lampshades, lightbulbs in lamps. Down between slats in radiators.

It is true this tool has limitations, what tool doesn't.But this is a great little addition to my dyson animal. I first used it under a dresser without the brush but extended so it could bend around the corners and it was really effective and quick.I use it unextended with the brush all along the carpet edges where they meet the skirting board. Again brilliant results especially as I used to periodically clean the area with a rubber glove! I do agree that the connection with the dyson tube is poor and I actually am using a different connector to the one recommended . I do think this could be improved or Mr Dyson could start standardising the tube conections on his vacuum cleaners.

I recently lost my original crevice tool supplied in the box of my Dyson DC28c, so I decided to buy this one. I was dubious about this purchase, in terms of quality and it being an original Dyson part. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it, It looks, feels and matches the Dyson DC28 original colour and quality. The end piece has a soft brush and easily clips off. There is a small button that you have to press to extend, exposing the flexible rubber part (I found this feature excellent for reaching awkward gaps, especially in the car). I found this tool much more versatile than the original crevice tool I had out the box, so I recommend it.Dyson DC28C Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner

This crevice tool has turned out to be a really good buy.If you want something to get into all those nooks and crannies that are unreachable, underneath heavy objects or to get right into the edge of the carpet where it meets the skirting board (unbelievable how much dog hair gets caught there) this is the one for you.Not only is it narrow enough to get into those small gaps (between the drivers seat and the handbrake in my car is one of those spaces that springs to mind) it's also flexible which means there's no nook or cranny, no spiders web or indeed spider that is safe from me and my Dyson!

Can't really see what else you could want in a crevice tool! It does the job it is supposed to and a bit more because it has the flexi bit. It gets underneath my washer and fridge freezer great. Goes round all the edges of the carpets nicley too. It comes with three different adapters so should fit your hoover. Mine's a DC40 all floors and it fits just fine.I was going to give a 4 star because it's so annoying that these simple tools are not included with such an expensive vacuum cleaner, but then guessed I'm rating the tool itself not Dyson!No problems here.

Great product! I purchased this for cleaning my new car with and it is great for getting into all of the hard to reach places. I have also used in at home on radiators, door panels and lots of other nooks and crannies!Fits onto my Dyson for storage.Highly recommended but would be even better if it was slightly narrower as there are still some places (eg: down the side of the front seats in the car) that it can't quite fully get to.

I have to disagree with the review below....mainly because the most effective way to use this tool is sometimes with and sometimes without the brush on the end.Ok, it's not the one magic tool that will change the world, but I wouldn't be without it for vacuuming the car, and getting under and into awkward spaces. 5 stars.Having used it for a few weeks now, I would definitely recommend it to anyone deciding whether to buy one.

This little tool seemed the perfect addition to my Dyson tools to be able to reach the parts others cannot.It does exactly what it says on the tin.The great thing about it is that is can be used as a solid sided attachment and then when the buttons are depressed the bendy tool pulls out for all those hard to reach places...a very welcome addition to the housework paraphernalia.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with the all-purpose tool supplied with the vac, this is very usful for getting down the backs of furniture and underneath the sofa. Being bendy and narrow, it gets into corners more easily, and adds a bit of extra length to the reach as well. Dyson please note - the dusting hose is too short on its own - make a flexible extension avaiable please!

This is an excellent addition to any Dyson cleaner. It works a treat, the only time it loses suction is when it is fully extended, but I guess this is a fair compromise considering the area where it loses the suction it normally uses this to lock the brush when it is closed. Other is brush has cleaned areas I haven't been able to reach round my house for quite some time.

Top product from top manufacturer. Use with original Dyson hose. Get used frequently to vac in awkward tight spaces. Superb for vacuuming inside car as it is super flexible with no loss of suction. Can get beside sill and front seat aswell as all over dash and windscreen area. Buy with confidence it is a must have add on for all Dyson vac users. Was delivered for free!

The flexi tool has proved very useful, my only disappointment I is that I had hoped it would have as thinner tip in order to gain access into very tight spaces eg, down by the side of car seats.If it was possible to disconnect the rigid plastic tip from the flexi part of the hose it would allow even greater access to those very tight spaces.Thanks

I have found that I have too many nooks and crannies around the house I can't get to without moving furniture, washiong machines etc, so bought this as a spur of the moment decision.It has rewarded my faith and has proven to be invaluable. It is well made and I have used it both on an upright and a handheld dyson, with excellent results

Second time round as I had a faulty one before, Amazon as usual first class service, had my item delivered the following day and pickup the fault at no cost to me...The item well made but it's a little stiff when extending maybe a little petroleum jelly might do the trick, anyway so far good...

Very useful little tool from Dyson. It really does why it says on the tin. Husband finds it very useful when vacuuming out the car so he can now get into all those little dust trap spots especially when we have had the dogs in the car and those little hairs get absolutely everywhere.
