I purchased this "orginal" Dyson part at twice the cost of the other cheaper chargers, however the part has failed after 7 months.UPDATE:Upon contacting First4Spares they informed me that it was unlikely that the charger had failed, but the batteries may no longer holding a charge.I have since purchased a new battery pack and the charger works fine.I have since amended my rating from 1 start to 5

After many years of loyal service, the charger wire started to fail at the appliance end, and nothing you can do to repair it.Ordered new one, and it was here overnight, and wasn’t expecting it, till next day. Even with the virus disrupting services, they cans still surprise you. Might not be the cheapest, but with limited choice, this was ok.Also works straight out the box, so all good.

Brilliant, does the job. Used for my DC animal 44. Had thought it was my battery, bought a none Dyson one, that wouldn't even charge on my neighbours working charger unit, so returned that battery, charged my old battery on his, and this confirmed my charger wasn't working. Chose this as it is a Dyson one, identical to what I had. Had it a few weeks now, and no problems.

BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING not for Animal Models!!The company states this will not fit the V models but it still comes up when you search for replacement parts.It is a genuine part, arrived very quickly, just be vigilant when ordering. Giving 5 stars as that is not the companies fault just making other purchasers aware so they don’t make same mistake.

Not too much to say about this. My original charger stopped working when we fitted the wall mount (no idea why, it had worked perfectly well just plugged into a socket!) so we needed a replacement. This is a good price - Dyson spares are expensive - and was sent very quickly.Very happy that I can use my hand-held Dyson again!

I don't really *love* it.But a much-used household accessory stopped working with a big bill to replace.A call to Dyson's help line and they diagnosed charger.I was surprised, thinking it more likely to be the battery, but they were right.This is a genuine spare that charged my cleaner ready for use again.

I've had my dyson vacuume cleaner for a long time ..and was mortified when it would no longer charge ..thinking I'd have to buy another one ...oh no amazon to the rescue! Delighted comes to mind ...so thank you ..for saving me the expense of another dyson vacuumed cleaner

The vacuum failed to charge. I bought a charger and this solved the problem. Phew, considerably cheaper than a new battery! Slightly disillusioned in the original Dyson product as it had not been used excessively and might be expected to outlast the cleaner.

My DC35 vac originally purchased in 2012 stopped working so I bought a new battery. It worked for a while then stopped again so I though maybe its the charger. It was. My vac is now working again. Maybe I shouldn't have thrown my old battery away??

I'm always a bit doubtful when I buy a charger online but having received it it looks like the real thing and works exactly as the original did. My only nagging doubt is that the one supplied doesn't have a third party type testing mark.

Very fast delivery, a small light on the charger goes out when the battery is fully charged which did not happen on the original one that came with my Dyson. Works perfectly so very happy, thank you.

As described. Works well and handy as Dyson wouldn’t offer support saying the line was discontinued (only a few years old) but were happy to discuss selling me a new vacuum. No way!

Hard to tell if it’s the battery or the charger when one or the other snuffs it. In my case it was both! Always best to buy the branded replacement it works and it’s guaranteed

Arrived very quickly. It is the Dyson charger for my Dyson vacuum cleaner. I didn’t want to risk a perhaps dodgy cheap version, but, the real thing I thought was expensive.

DC30 didn't seem to hold a charge and the charge light didn't stay on. Followed web advice, bought this charger, problem solved though expensive so typical Dyson.
