Bought it for 3 year old DC35 and it fits fine and works well, my cats hair and dust does get caught in the bristles but that's why it's a brush, things like hair will get caught in it just like anything that's going to brush your floor!! But super easy to clean and maintain, unclip tool turn over pull excessive hair and dust off with fingers or better still do what I do which is run the vacuum over the bristles hey presto bristles clean and tool clipped back on to wand within half a second and ready to go again and now with it being articulating (head moves into loads of different positions) and low profile I now can vacuum under coffee table (mega low)

I loved the DC59 Lithium Ion powered digital slim as soon as I got it - but for one thing - the motorised head sucks down hard on vinyl flooring and is hard to push around, while the brushing action just wastes power and feels as though it might damage the surface. No suitable head for Vinyl is supplied with the DC59. Then I discovered this head and it's brilliant, gliding around effortlessly on hard or soft Vinyl. It's useless though on mats and carpet, sticking and flipping over.I have since devised a better brush head than this, with flip-up brushes that instantly converts to vinyl or carpet. Using the 'Iron Circle Adaptor' (£6) I converted a Goblin Aquavac head. There are two Aquavac heads available on eBay,

We bought this to go with the new Dyson Hoover that was also purchased from Amazon and are very pleased. In fact, its possibly the most useful accessory I have ever bought. It rotates 180 degrees, meaning you can run it along the bottoms of cupboards etc. You can also get it low enough to get right under chairs etc instead of having to move them. We have Kardean (solid floor) in both the kitchen and conservatory and can whip round in no time. It almost makes hoovering enjoyable as it simply glides along.Don't be put off by the price - its well worth the money and will last for years. Fabulous. I've a Dyson V6 machine and it fits perfectly. It's lightweight and slots down narrow gaps where the normal head won't. Picks up nearly everything (including cat litter) - the odd bit gets left behind occasionally but would with the usual head. Yes you have to take it off every so often to hoover the fluff build up round the edge but you get that with the regular one too - the bonus of this head (apart from everything else!) is that you can give it a rinse under the tap afterwards to really clean it (not that it needs it); the other one gets bit of fluff stuck where it can't be easily removed and needs to be taken apart to clean it. So I'm very happy with this - worth every penny.

One of the excellent tool by Dyson, As the product description goes, it swivels 180* as well as up and down. It fits perfectly for DC54, and it also comes with an attachment to fit with other models (I'm not sure about which models it suits- check product description). If you have wooden floors/tiles this is a must buy tool, I would surely recommend to buy this product. It light weight, durable, works just like Dyson video shows. It is sleek and event went behind the radiator pipes to clean the floor. It can go below the low rise sofas and furniture easily since its so thin and its ability to rotate at a full circle along with swiveling up and down. If your has small gaps between wooden floors like mine does,

The tool itself is amazing, it has a really slim profile that is wonderful for cleaning under chairs and sofas. It moves about very well, and is extremely good at picking up dirt and dust on hard floors. I also found it good for cleaning the tiles and grout on the floor of the kitchen. All in all an extremely good purchase. Definitely worth the £35 RRP and a steal at £25!--Now for the back story--We've have a DC59 machine and have just had a solid wood floor laid. I was quite concerned that the floor tool that comes with DC59 would mark our new hard floor. I had been looking at this a few weeks prior to purchase and seen that in all with other stores including Dyson official store the price was £35 upwards.

I absolutely love this product!! I was in two minds whether to buy it or not as I thought it was rather expensive, but it really is worth every penny. Having just got solid wood floors fitted in two rooms we were paranoid that dragging our Dyson round them would scratch them so we wanted a friendlier solution. This is ideal; it's efficiency is brilliant and the way it works totally surpassed my expectations. You can rotate the tool a full 360 degrees, meaning you can effortlessly hoover underneath dining tables/chairs without having to move anything at all. I am 5 months pregnant so it has certainly made my life much easier when cleaning the house. Fantastic item, can't recommend enough!

When we bought our Dyson we thought that the multi floor attachment that came as standard would be fine for our wooden floors but we were disappointed to find it did not really do the job. I found this attachment on the internet and with a little trepidation I ordered it. We have been very pleased with the brush attachment as it really does make a difference. I think it would be advisable for Dyson to offer the different attachments with the various vacuum cleaners when you are buying them. I would have preferred this one to the one that came as standard.

Although my Dyson has been great for the rugs in my flat, I never felt the provided attachments were particularly good at hoovering for the laminate flooring in my living room or the tiles in my bathroom and kitchen. This attachment, however, is brilliant. I'd recommend it for both types of flooring. What I especially like is the pivot - you can rotate the wand 180 degrees in any direction. It's very flexible, so you can get it under sofas or beds and get all the dust I ordinarily cannot be bothered to scoop out!

This is a great brush head for solid floor surfaces like tiles, laminate and solid wood floors. The head is small and it swivels & rotates at any angle, so great for getting under and around furniture.Of course this is NOT a general purpose tool. Its useless on carpet, because it has been designed for flat surfaces!I use it exclusively on our oak floors so that it doesn't pick up anything sticky from other surfaces (like the kitchen floor).As per all things Dyson, it is probably over priced.

Excellent tool. I would highly recommend this as a superb addition to the Dyson. I use it on the kitchen, hall, vestibule, bathroom and utility room tiles and hard floors. It is great for getting into the corners and picks up all crumbs etc without scratching. It is easy to use and manoeuvre. It is also a great help on wooden floors. It has taken me a while to think about getting this but wish I had bought one a lot sooner. It is also excellent for picking up dog hair etc.

Strangely, I neither liked or disliked the item. When it arrived, it soon became evident that I had ordered the wrong Dyson replacement part. As with previously purchased Dyson units, I am sure that this brush head would have performed brilliantly. It's just that due to my own error, the part was incompatible with my current unit. Such a shame.That said, the part did arrive well packaged and I was kept fully appraised of its journey timeline.

This was despatched the same day I ordered and delivered the next day. I bought this to attach to my dyson for hoovering my karndean floor as my normal all floors dyson had scratched it and at 60m2 it was a large area to brush twice a day whilst my dog is molting. I can now easily hoover the flooring with this attachment really quickly. Would recommend to anyone with a hard floor that is worried about scratches.

Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It arrived quickly in genuine packaging and fitted my Dyson DC28C perfectly. I have about 25sqm of black porcelain tiles in my kitchen and hall and this is perfect for hoovering them quickly, far better than a regular attachment or soft broom. It's also great for the wooden floors in the house. Well worth the cost, would definitely recommend.

I have newly laid hardwood floors in the downstairs of my house, and this Dyson attachment is a god send. My Dyson rollaball I think would scratch the wood floor but with this adapter on the hose I can pick up any bits of grit that I don't want to dust around the floor. It makes clearing up after my builder so easy and keeps my floors clean and tidy - most importantly, grit free.
