I ordered this for my Dyson V6 animal cordless vacuum cleaner which it fits perfectly and runs beautifully after the original head seemed to have puttered out. I could probably get a whole new vacuum for the same price as this part cost me, but I like my Dyson and there was nothing wrong with the rest of the device. I deducted one star however as the Amazon delivery was scheduled and even came up with the tracker saying so many stops away, and I tracked it to being on my street, but then it drove away and the delivery was pushed back. Not impressed with Amazon's delivery on this purchase.

Brought this as a replacement for mine which just stopped working!!This is larger than the one's these come with but i think these a re better a little bit larger it covers more space so saves time and minutes hoovering!I do think that these are quite expensive though, in fact all Dyson spares are expensive for the hand held one's at least.Sometimes i think it would be cheaper to buy a new one!! great product though and would recommend just expensive that's all.

Battery is already a replacement, wonder wat will be next! However, great replacement vacuum head for the V6 animal. Box says genuine replacement part, and indeed it is identical to the one that 'died'. Expensive, but makes sense instead of buying a whole new machine. If it is still in a good condition, save your brush from your old motorhead before chucking it in into a bin whole, it might be useful, seeing how much that is to replace...

Works perfect with my Dyson DC58 Animal, so much so that ive stopped using my Dyson DC41 upright now. I would go as far as saying that this now does a better job of picking up dog hair and lint from socks than the mains powered DC41 I have. Im using this in conjunction with the extension pole and it works flawlessly. Cant recommend enough. Thanks

I didn't realise that my Dyson wasn't working as efficiently as it should until I bought this new brush tool.It seems quite expensive but then a Dyson DC59 V6 Animal Digital Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner isn't cheap to buy so it was well worth investing in this new tool. It has given my old vacuum cleaner and me a new lease of life!!

Needed a replacement head for my Dyson V6 hoover. This came up and it is great!Its slightly bigger that the head that comes out the box, so if you are looking for a like for like swap, beware. This however suits us even better!The products from Dyson are a bit pricey in general, but I guess you pay the name and the quality.

The original brush stopped rotating when used on carpets and assumed the internal motor was worn out. A year ago I replaced the battery in the main unit and when the brush stopped working, thought I needed to buy a new hand held vacuum cleaner. However, the new brush head has made the old DC59, feel new again - well, almost.

It was either this or buy a whole new unit to replace a DC44.This? Approximately £45. A new unit £200-£300+. I get that the current unit has other things that may fail before projected end-of-life, but I'll take the odds. My now four year old Dyson is now just as effective as it was before.

I bought this because I had already worn out two brushheads, I have a standard rough collie, his hair is a challenge for any vac! Dyson are expensive and no better than Vac but its what I have got so there you are! I have worn out three heads for the Vac but it works better than the Dyson.

This is the second head I have bought; at around £60 it is a lot of money and I would expect it to last at least five years in normal domestic use, but it only last a couple of years (I think). End caps tend to come loose over time too. These are replaceable, but again very expensive.

I bought this as the head on my Dyson wouldn't pick up anymore and I didn't want to have to spend another £200 on a new one. The part is perfect and picks up like the old one did originally. Very reasonable price for a genuine part. Very satisfied. Prompt delivery and value for money.

Ordered this during covid 19 lockdown because my other one had broken, and i was getting back ache from bending down trying to hoover up with the small attachment. Packaging was good, quick delivery, works a lot better than my old one maybe because it is bigger? suction is good.

Bought this together with the Dyson hose pipe to finally make my handheld Animal Dyson into a cordless hoover.Best thing I ever did! I use it a lot more and great suction. Easily taken apart to remove the many hairs it seems to find.Wish I had ordered these parts years ago!

Bought this a a separate attachment along with the slim extension for my Animal and it's the best think I ever did. Makes vacuuming the lounge a piece of cake!! So glad I was able to buy these attachments rather than fork out for a new hand held vacuum I didn't really need!
