I bought this for my new DC25 and it fits great. It's fab for dusting over the tops of books (which drive me crazy with the speed they collect dust but how LONG it takes to dust them each individually. Now i just stick this in the shelf and presto -even the delicate hardback's paper covers don't get spoilt. It's also fantastic in the office - another dust nest - all my machinary, wires and monitors used to collect dust in an unbelievable way, now i can get most of it cleaned up reasonably quickly (keyboard, back of the monitors, inside in trays, back of speakers etc.) The only real drawback, it's not a replacement for the good old furniture polish and dusting cloth - obviously - it just removes the top layers of dust,if you wipe it after with your finger, there's still a thin layer of (not very visible)dust. But personally i can live with that, especially since the tool cleans some things that a dusting cloth can't - like inbeween keys of the keyboard and over the cloth part of my speakers! Anything which needs polishing, can still be polished periodically, it just doesn't need to be done quite so often.definatly has my vote.

I have found the Dyson soft dusting brush to work very effectively and gets the job done in seconds, not least because it's quite large - for all its ability to do delicate jobs as well. It does not mark my dining table which scratches at the slightest thing and there is no raging suction so it's possible to dust a pile of papers or similar without them disappearing into the brush. The joy of it is that dust actually goes into the vacuum cleaner rather than hanging in the air, waiting to resettle on the furniture the minute ones back is turned (very dark bedroom units - why did I do that?) No more shaking out of dusters every couple of minutes. To gently disagree with the comments from A.Crosby "anneke999" on this page, my brush came with the usual three adaptors and the one with the triangle fitted my Animal DC14 Dyson - either by pushing ON to the metal tube or IN to the flexible hose - definitely no Sellotape needed! The ads don't mention there's a strip of velour type 'fluff picker-upper' on the inside of the brush.Once again, an efficient tool from Dyson which gets my vote!

This brush fits directly onto my excellent Dyson DC24 Allfloors without any need for the adaptors and is a very good additional tool for it.The bristles are probably not as soft as you'd think but this makes it more effective at cleaning and dusting, however I would hesitate to clean inside my PC with it like another reviewer mentioned (if only for electro-static reasons). It really is effective at cleaning shelves, mantelpieces, modern TV stands, and just about any surface you care to mention, often without having to move the objects resting (Jaun Sebastian) thereon. I can give my 3 bed house and all it's surfaces a decent going over in less than an hour (including the floors vacuuming normally)with this attached, it really does make a big difference. All in all, it's a well designed and useful tool that adds a lot of functionality to your Dyson and is to be highly recommended.

No complaints so far. I bought this brush for my Dyson DC14 Origin. I had to use the included adaptor, and the brush slotted snugly into the hose socket and never worked loose, even when I slightly unscrewed it to lessen the suction pressure. The bristles feel quite firm but also have a fairly soft & silky texture which along with the velvety protective inner strip, was reassuring when using it on hard surfaces and some electrical appliances. So far I've used it on furniture, cabinets, curtains, windowsills, hi-fi & DVD players etc, as well as TV screens & inside the TV cabinet, and so far no scuff marks (I've also taken the advise of some reviewers and avoided the PC...just in case of any static).Dyson accessories certainly don't come cheap, but this handy little tool certainly beats the drudgery of dusting with a cloth - a big help for me anyway.

I bought a Dyson 22 a while back & picked up 1 of these too for dusting, they're awesome! As the bristles stick out at 45' it's great for getting under & in between the edges of ur stereo etc as U go over & around them, also next to the skirting board where the carpet drops over the edge of the gripper rail. As U can see it also covers a much larger area, than a usual dusting tool, when doing large surfaces such as sofas, tables, worktops etc. The bristles are soft & flexible, so it's great for doing picture frames & ornaments etc, but if U need something to loosen dried dirt in the carpet etc then this tool is no good for that. However, if U buy the home kit U'll get this brush & a stiff one too,(Brush that is lol)that's what I did. U wont regret buying this tool! Enjoy & have a good 1!

I was initially disappointed on receiving this brush as it doesn't look like much! That said after using it has some definite pro's and a couple of con's! The plus points are that it is absolutely fantastic on slotted or textured surfaces and sucks the dust out of the smallest corners. It is also great on the computer keypad - something which is normally a pain to dust! It's lightweight and attaches easily to the vacuum handle. The negative is that it if a very LONG brush so once you have connected it to the vacuum handle it becomes a bit tricky to use in corners or tight spaces. The other negative is that it might be slightly overpriced, for what it is,but then again I do find my dusting brush useful so couldn't complain too much on this point.

I'm a computer enthusiast so I have a couple of working PCs in my room which after a month or so starts accumulating a lot of dust inside. I used to use compressed air (rather expensive) to blast out the dust while holding a vacuum cleaner in the other hand to suck up the floating clumps of dust. Now with this brush, since the hair is very soft, I can use it to directly brush the components inside while sucking up the dust. Because it doesn't cost me anything per use (unlike the can of compressed air), I clean my PCs around once a week, keeping them dust-free and running efficiently. Also great for cleaning any other electrical goods like TVs, DVD players, radio etc.A must-have for Dyson users.

I bought this dusting brush at my local Curry's and it cost £17.95 which was rather on the expensive side, but I'm not a huge fan of dusting and I liked the concept. It works really well, gets up all of the dust and is gentle enough to use just about anywhere. It is great at getting the dust out of the bottom of drawers, and the tops of books in my bookcase and as all of the dust goes into the vacuum cleaner, you are not transferring it from surface to carpet. On the minus side, the brush falls off my DC04 nozzle every couple of minutes despite trying out all of the adaptors. I contemplated taking it back to Curry's,but I like the principle of dusting as I vacuum so I have perdsevered with it.

A brilliant brush. It arrived even before the estimated delivery dates which was a bonus. It comes with one adaptor. It fits onto my old DC14 using the adaptor provided and it fits onto my DC28c without the need for an adaptor. I have now used it for dusting lampshades, dusting panelled doors, general surfaces and textured walls (plastered) with amazing results in all cases. I have used it on the end of a telescopic wand (DC14) for higher reach areas, or simply at the end of the flexible tubing (DC28c) which gave great control. You do have to get the angle right, but it does not warrant a drop to four stars because of that in my humble opinion. Why did I wait so long to purchase this?

This is an incredfibly useful accessory for you vac, and almost eliminates the need to use a duster before vaccuuming the floors. If I were to criticise it, I'd probably moan about the rather brittle plastic used and, perhaps, the way it's too easy to knock the little catch on the universal adaptor fitting that comes with this. The latter was easy to sort out with a dab of hot glue, but the brittle plastic starts to show evidence of relatively minor impacts very quickly, and I do wonder what would happen if I dropped it on a hard floor.Having said all that, I've had this for nearly two years now, and it's still in one piece, despite regular, and heavy-handed, use by yours truly.

I set about it and by God it works beautifully! We have a DC 25 and it came ...I didn't think i'd have an opinion about a Dyson product, but apparently I do.I bought this to clean our hardwood slatted blinds (when you've tried to dust two of them, you will lose your grip on reality and may possibly decide set fire to the blinds rather than dust them again) so feeling a little pensive and wondering how I actually became this middle aged, I set about it and works beautifully! We have a DC 25 and it came with an adaptor so I am impressed, with a vacuum cleaning attachment. I'll think about that for a while

Really good product, quality build, comes with attachments for all types of Dyson. Delivery was quick and product came in good packaging also. Its one of the best buys of the year (09) for me, makes life so much easier, dusted my room within a couple of minutes as oppose to wiping it down with a cloth or duster for ages and I got better results because the vacuum sucks all the dust up instead of leaving it to fall back down again on the furniture and desk.Plus, because its soft, I could use it on my monitor and speakers without scratching anything which is always a worry for me.Go for it!

Initially I thought this seemed a little expensive for a bit of plastic and a few bristles - but it's well worth the money. Used it a few times and there's a noticeable difference. Instead of re-arranging the dust with a duster you're getting rid of it full stop so you don't need to dust so often. It's good for bookcases, ornaments, walls, keyboards and monitors, any other furniture. There's no danger of breaking ornaments because the bristles are soft and the hole used to suck up the dust is about the size of a penny. Another great product from dyson.

Like most semi normal humans I hate to dust, so when I bought my Dyson I also opted for this deluxe dusting attachment (I was feeling extravagant!)I was very pleased with this thing because the bristles are nice and soft so they don't damage, but also stiff enough to dislodge any resistant particles. I dusted my entire house for the first time in ages I was so impressed. Marvellous! To be fair though, the attachment that ships with the cleaner is just a smaller and less ergonomic version of this one so you won't be helpless without this either.

2.12.2010

This attachment makes dusting a piece of cake! It stops the dust just being moved around and removes it from the room - it's so soft it can be used on any surface I can think ofThe suction is very good with it without being too much and the soft brush in the very middle helps shine polished finish itemsJust brilliant - anything which makes housework much quicker and easier gets my vote!PS quick other top tip - make sure your filters are cleaned regularly - mine weren't, it lost suction, I cleaned them and it's like having a new hoover! Yay!
