bought 3 wks ago. good overall browning - almost to top edge on large shop-bought loaf. Wide for crumpets also. Also sliced a cheese scone in 2, put cheese-topped in a toaster bag, toasted on No 2 setting and it was warmed through nicely (as I was unsure if toaster-bag will stand-up to heat. I had never used a toaster bag in toaster before!) Not tried with a artisan slice though. good value for under £20 as Drew & Cole is reputable. Stable though not heavy for elderly hands. Functional with pleasing shape with rounded edges.Oh, did I mention I'm mesmerised by the bottom lighted blue bar that shows me how far along the toast is progressing?

Quality and technology brought together for a attractive price It’s a toaster ,so I’m not getting to excited but the claims of faster process and the addition count down leds does make this product a attractive addition to my kitchen This is the third kitchen item from Drew and Cole , I have a cooker and a kettle which both exceed my expectations and I can say this item follows this path too .If you want a quality product then I can’t hesitate to recommend this item more ,buy it and enjoy

This is very fast (high power) toaster. It's great if you have fresh slices of thin bread - it takes a minute to brown it. However, when I get a thicker slice especially from the freezer it's burning sides while it's still cold inside. Maybe I'm still getting used to it. Regarding the design - I like the metal case and specially chose it to avoid plastic thinks but it comes with plastic knobs! Anyway, it's a solid good toster after all

I bought this toaster to replace a 4 slice one to give me a bit more room in the kitchen and I’m so glad I chose this one.It looks great and makes great toast in a fraction of the time . It’s so quick.I went for the charcoal colour which has a metallic look and would suit any colour scheme . The added bonus is that I got it at a great price too. Looks more expensive .

It is an excellent toaster. fast, and browns evenly. The only fault is that I can't fit a slice of Warburton's bread into the slot, which is slightly too short. I can get around this by putting the short end in, then turning the slice around halfway through, but it is a nuisance. If you use normal sized bread, then this is the perfect toaster for you.

Had this toaster 2 weeks now and everyone in the house(2 teenage boys) loves it-it toast quickly and perfect on chosen Levels-wish I had purchased it earlier.(I did send for charcoal colour and received s-steel but it still looks well in the kitchen)The reduced price brought it within my budget and made it a real bargain purchase-thank you.

I haven’t had it but a few days although it arrived sooner than advised. Used it today for the first time and it’s great. I like the wider apertures for thicker slices and the traffic lights showing progress are great. I would have liked a slightly longer electrical lead but overall the toaster is just what I needed.

I have been fighting with my old toaster to get, both sides browned but usually ended up with one side browned and the other burnt to a cinder!Then I saw this toaster advertised online.One word FABULOUS! I have two slices of beautifully browned toast every morning now, without wasting more slices in the process!

I have had this toaster for just over a week and found it very fast but I'm still working out the best setting for my toast, i started on number 3 which wasn't high enough now up to number 4 and it is better .... slowly increasing it each time I use it ..nearly up to 4 & a half witch makes perfect toast for me.

This was a good purchase nice colour matches the kitchen great features inc a defrost programme this toaster is probably the fastest to toast that ive ever used only slight downside it could have been a centimeter taller to toast the while slice and not leave the top undercooked but a definate recommend from me

I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THIS TOASTS. i AM DISABLED AND USED TO HAVE TO SIT ON A STOOL TO WAIT FOR MY TOAST TO GET DONE, this toaster is so fast by the time I get to the fridge to get the butter, it is done. i am thinking about getting one for my sister who always complains how long her toaster takes.

This is a reasonably good toaster just one fault for me is length of slots they are just too short to take larger slices of bread unless you cut an end off if you want full slice toasted otherwise really good I would tell friends this before I recommend it as not everyone uses larger sliced loaves

This is a super toaster. It cooks pretty evenly each side and VERY quickly. I bought the Red one and it blends well with my other kitchen equipment. I will use it a lot more in the winter though.I have not cleaned it yet as only used it twice. Excellent value at the discount price. Thank You.

when they say rapid they arent kidding perfect toast in half the time , crumpers however are bliss they come out like they have just been done over an open fire , only niggle i can find it as you can expect it gets very hot , so dont even think about using it anywhere near flamable things

I bought this as a replacement. The old toaster held 4 slices this one only two. Neither does this one take large slices of bread, or large thick slices of bread. Should designers not take these things into account when designing a toaster? However it does make toast quickly and well.
