A step-up ring is just that. It'll fit and do its job. Well I have a few of the Dörr rings to reuse circular polarizers on different lenses with different sized threads, and the good thing about the step-up rings is that the anodised finish is reasonably matt. I have other rings (eg from Kenko) that are bright satin. Initially I just bought the one I needed. When I saw the finish I replaced my Kenko rings. Between the Dörr rings I have there is a small degree of variation in the level of matt finish but this is minor. For the price these are a decent buy. The rings have the size printed on twice on opposite outer faces which is a bit unnecessary.ps - Same review as my 62-67mm review

Bought a few of these, all been fine so far. As long as they are metal, I am not to bothered who makes it. Using the step up rings are great in general though. Simplify the number of filters I need to buy to a single size but also, I had a wide angle small filter size lens and with the right size filters there was increasing vignetting which I actually believe was the sensor seeing the filter rings.

Perfect! Exactly what I was after. Delivery time was great too. Thank you very much.Can't go wrong with this product. Does what it says on the tin.PLEASE NOTE: A lot of people say that their step-up/step-down ring doesn't fit but I think it's because they got it mixed up with step-up or step-down. Make sure you research which one you need before purchasing.

The adapter is well made with good threads delivered quickly and well packaged.It is the wrong way around for my needs. It is in my camera bag in case I ever need it.Otherwise no complaint apart from criticising myself for not reading the sellers description in the first place.

Nicely made smart finish, fits the 58mm end thread on my Canon Zoom lens perfectly. This allows me to step up to 67mm, and use all my 67mm filter, and lens hoods.
