Incredible SRPG that will take you months to 100% it.The thing that I like best about this game is the amount of content and how everything you do has an ultimate purpose; you can go in the Item World to either upgrade your weapons or to loot the Item Gods, you can make certain characters like Laharl learn magic through his/her pupils, so on and so forth. It's incredibly fun doing all of these things, as I've said nothing comes out as a waste of time.What really characterizes the series though is that you can level up your characters to Level 9999, but even that's not enough to defeat the bigger bosses as you need to reincarnate your characters back to Level 1 and level them up again,

When I first played this game, I thought it was a rip off, because it looks like its from the PS1. A comparison to final fantasy tactics came to mind, from the graphics and gameplay. Disgaea is way better, with deeper gameplay and a really good and funny storyline ( I still havent figured out what ff tactics was about).If you like tactile games, you'll love this.
