I discovered this stuff by accident a couple of years ago, and immediately wondered how I'd managed to get by without it.The taste is quite unlike anything I've experienced before; the closest comparison to a common foodstuff would be marzipan, but I hate marzipan (I actually go to the bother of cutting it off Christmas cake) so let's just say it tastes mainly of 'almonds'. Very sweet almonds, but still almonds.I'm not the most refined drinker in the world, but I've found this goes very nicely with Coke. On its own, I it prefer very chilled with no ice, but a couple of cubes don't dilute the taste too much.At 28% it's a step down from the strength of vodkas, rums and the like,

I have never been too fond of spirits but this liquer has blown my mind. Imagine a sort of rich, warm, almondy marzipan made into a liquer. It tastes quite like amaretto biscuits obviously, if you've ever tried them - what's not to like! It's a really warming and happy drink, either sipped neat or lovely with coke if you need to drink sparingly (it is quite sweet). Also mixes well into a lot of cocktails. I am not much of a drinker but my bottle only lasted 2 months.. but it's alright because I got another! The bottle is very smart too, looks right at home on any shelf. Lovely around Christmas time too!

Disaronno... Mmm. What can you say, it's like drinking sweet cherry juice - but it's alcoholic? My favourite Amaretto as it actually tastes "full" rather than watered down as many other brands are - plus it's pretty strong stuff at 28%.The bottle is attractively designed and sturdily built, I've always loved the square lid and think it looks just a little bit "sophisticated" like something that belongs to the "boss" in a movie.

Currently the better halfs favourite drink. Very smooth and addictive. Good on it's own or especially nice with orange juice and sour mix. Fellows, if your partners are a bit fed up with the usual bottle of wine for birthdays or Cristmas give this a go as it will be a pleasant surprise. Every time I have a drink I can't stop thinking of cherry bakewells. Be warned though, it goes down way to easy!!

I am going on holiday abroad to my daughters and their husbands for 3 months and needed to take something beautiful and valuable for the boys' bar's from UK and wow wow wow...I was so delighted at the beauitful wrapped packaging it arrived in and the quality and beauty of this miniature is ever more lovely than the picture on line. Thank you for a lovely product.

No other amaretto compares to Disaronno - how can they when Disaronno have been the key player for almost 500 years? Whilst a standard bottle may cost almost twice (and in some case three times the price) of generic brand competitors it isn't worth the sacrifice in flavour, consistency and experience. Goodness, I sound like a Disaronno salesperson.

I ALWAYS drink this when I'm out (trying to stay somewhat sophisticated).I was given a few bottles for my birthday a few months ago, one of the best presents I've ever received.It's difficult to describe the test but it's REALLY sweet.In fact, I'm drinking it straight from the bottle as I write this.I should probably stop though.

Bought this on special offer and you can't beat amazons price here. The delivery came within only a day or two and the product itself looks very premium with textured glass and tastes great. Would recommend this to anyone that likes the marzipan taste or for someone who hasn't tried it you may like it if you also like Dr pepper.

I'm a big fan of almond flavours and marzipan. I got this because I was told I would enjoy Disaronno but I didn't wanna buy a big bottle incase I didn't like it. and I love it, the flavour of the almonds is perfect and its a very smooth drink (despite is alcohol volume) I do recommend mixing it with coke.

Had this once before same 2 people delivering this and asked for ID or Passport and wouldn't accept any other thanthat ID and just don't have that ID ,its very frustrating and annoying I'm 41, my parents are 68 and 70 being asked for proof of age . Time before just had to send it back cancel the order.

Definitely one of the better winnings liqueurs. Has a strong flavour and very strong Aroma to it.Bought this to make "Disaronno Sours" and it's ideal for that (funny that)Came well packaged and good value for money.If you like amaretto, you'll probably like this :-)

I bought this as a gift for my sister- in- law who is a great fan of the product. It was a little on the expensive side but I was able to send it as a gift and delivery was free. She was delighted with it, It was well packaged and was delivered very quickly.

Well I usually buy one of these in time for Christmas but it's only October, will be getting another one in before then. Forgot how nice this was. Such a nice drink if you like almonds, which I do. Give it a try. Nice and warning in the cold winter nights

Don’t be fooled by the fancy bottle, this is a slightly above average Amaretto. Its certainly inferior to Armilar Amaretto from Lidl which is infinitely better and at least 33% cheaper. However, we are in lockdown so grateful for anything at the moment.
