I'm not quite sure where to start with this review for my favourite liquor of all time. I discovered Liqor 43 on a holiday to Spain (The only place where it is made), & since then, I have ALWAYS got a bottle of it in the house. I have never tasted a licour anywhere near the flavour of Cuarenta Y Tres (40 & 3). I love it so much, my partner & myself travelled to Cartagena in Spain to tour the Liqor 43 distillary - what an experience. They obviously couldn't tell us the secret of the flavour, only that there are 43 ingredients in it. The smooth taste, the versatility of the various drinks which can be created with it, this is the "anytime" drink (particularly as I don't like sprits much),

This is Spain's premium Liqueur. It is made from citrus and fruit juices, flavoured with vanilla and other aromatic herbs and spices, for a total 43 different ingredients (hence the name). It is 31%abv / 62 proof and is a light bodied, sweet liqueur.It is yellow with a tinge of gold. The aroma is sharp, warm, and complex, with vanilla up front; and then tangy sweet fruit, spices. Yet to meet someone who doesn't like it. Shop around, best price was £15. It cost just 7 euros if you buy it in Spain. Pretty please, bring me back a case if you do.....

I don’t drink alcohol, I just don’t like the taste, apart from Licor 43. I am Spanish and found this drink after my friends tried to find something I would like. In Barcelona we drink it mixed with pineapple juice, absolutely delicious and refreshing. Have been living in England for 25 years now and have never been able to find it here (my wedding venue imported a bottle for me on my special day after I mentioned it was the only alcoholic drink I liked) So glad to see it on Amazon now

My wife and I first tried Licor 43 in Spain about 20 years ago. It has been one of our favorite tipples since. 20 years ago it was almost impossible to get it in the UK. We tend to stock up when we go to Gibralter it is only about £9 per litre. Mmmm thats a great price, the only problem is its very morish and a litre can be drunk in one session??. I have also seen a white version but I dont know anything about it but I believe it is expensive.

Perfect for making Carajillos! If you don’t know what carajillos are please treat yourself to them, grab a shot of espresso, a tumbler glass, and tons of ice, pour the licor 43 into the glass with ice and then over the back of a spoon pour the espresso shot, sit back and enjoy for summer or winter!Picture is by theothersideofthetortilla.com (their carajillo recipe is more elaborated but much nicer!)

First tried this drink in Bulgaria. It's insane with milk (sounds weird I know but tastes like a vanilla milkshake). I was hoping it would be tolerable just with ice but the chest burn is a little too intense not to have it slightly diluted. Regardless, this is a fab drink to have for a wee chill night! Very strong vanilla taste and aroma. Would definitely recommend ordering.

Cant fault this stuff, pop in a few ice cubes away you go.CAN fault delivery though, it wasn’t ,’handed to the resident‘. It was left on my neighbours door step and the door knocked. I’m ok with distancing ‘handed to’ but this was first delivery person who didn’t wait to see if door was opened, laugh is had 2 other items for my address and DID wait to get acknowledgement?!

We tasted this drink as a freebie at a tapas restaurant and it tasted so nice we had to buy a bottle. If you like sweet liquors, you will like this. The taste is not too strong. I have it straight but it is also nice mixed with coke. The bottle quantity and design is nice and would make a great gift if someone has not tried it before.

I purchased this for my brothers 30th birthday, he originally tried this whilst on holiday and fell in love with it. Couldn’t find it anywhere in your average shops and luckily found it online. Was packaged nicely in the coolest little bubble bag lol, i believe he finished the bottle in one weekend so must’ve been nice!

I am familiar with the drink itself so that met all expectations. However, slightly disappointed when received that it didn't come in the presentation box it is pictured with. The photograph is slightly misleading in this respect and it should be made clearer that you are purchasing the bottle only.

This warming vanilla liquor has long been a favourite.Ideal indoors or outside. The taste of old Spain.If you fancy a bigger drink try a 43G ... a shot in the bottom of a pint glass and topped with Guinness. It kills the frothy head too but is rather lethal because you can pour them faster!

Sugar!!! Vanilla!!! Probably? Very nice. Had this at my mate's house, I'm a keen liquor drinker and I know what's yummy and what's cheap garbage (I'm looking at you Famous Grouse!!! O_o) Anyway, if you like sweet things and you like vanilla, you will NOT be disappointed. Excellent stuff.

Lovely drink bought as a present. Beautiful colour and very smart bottle. There was a hole in one end of the box where then lid of the bottle had worn though the cardboard. I consider myself lucky to get it without damage. It seemed that the box was just too short for the bottle.
