My title says that I Hate it! What it fails to clarify is that I hate not having any left!!!I first came across Bruadar Lequeur Whisky when I was given a, nearly full, bottle from a work colleague who had had it bought for him, but he didn't like it ?‍♂️.I had been drinking another brewers liqueur Whisky flavoured with honey for several years, after being introduced to that by an old flame, so was familiar with the taste. This is ever so slightly a more 'sharper' taste, but still has the smooth, but subtle taste of honey. My issue is, I can't stop at the one glass! It really is so moorish ?.I'm not a big drinker (5 - 6 units a week) but whenever I get a bottle of Bruadar, that's blown in one day!I can quite easily drink the bottle in one sitting!I limit myself (due to the price) to only buying in readiness of special occasions ie. Christmas, Birthdays etc. but I am always disappointed when I run out and look forward to the next occasion.

I tried this for the first time on a trip up to Inverness when we stopped off at Baxters in Fochabers. I find other whisky liqueurs, such as Glayva or Drambuie for example, a little harsh and whenever I take a sip I get the burn at the back of my throat. With the first sip of Bruadar, I waited for that hit on the back of my throat and it never came. Bruadar is so smooth with the flavours of honey and sloe berries that it truly is pure nectar. I have struggled to find anywhere local to buy it (a 120 mile round trip to buy a bottle in Fochabers is a bit far) so was absolutely delighted when I found it on here. If you like Glayva or Drambuie then I believe that you will absolutely love this.If you don't like whisky or whisky liqueurs, I encourage you to try this if you ever get the opportunity. It may well win you over

I found this at Chatsworth Country Fair fifteen years ago. I fell in love with it and I am not a Whiskey drinker. I repeatedly went around the grounds a fair few times and going back for another cheeky sample of it. I couldn't afford to buy it at that time. Since this time I have tried to remember its name, have asked countless people about this smooth honey whiskey and none have been it.This year I returned to Chatsworth Country Fair and when I told the man at a Whiskey tent the story of my search off he popped and poured a sample. I was so happy! I couldn't believe I'd found it!So, buy it. You will not regret it. If you don't like it - send it my way ;)

This is a great drink and myself and my family love it. But I am a whiskey drinker THIS IS NOT WHISKEY ITS A LIQUEUR all the misguided reviews about this being a smooth whiskey or not harsh. It's because it's not whiskey. Whiskey has to be a minimum of 40% hence the harshness and cask strengths can be 40% and up sky's the limit. This is a great drink but I am dissapointed with how sweet this is (added sugar). It's competition is stags breath and I really do prefer the stags breath because that's made with natural honey comb and not process sugar.

This is my favourite sipping whisky at the moment. I know, I know I also have some friends that would hang me for saying this about a decent whisky that has been tainted with another substance. But its soooo good. I’ve yet to find a normal person who drinks whisky who hasn’t liked this, yes I keep my expensive single malts for my more discerning (and angry) friends, but this is my go-to-girl for a nice relaxing drink.Smooth whisky with a sweet aftertaste of honey, which is not overpowering or to sickly.A very moreish.

Beautiful, smooth flavour; you really can taste the honey. My husband loves whisky/whisky liquors and had almost finished our supply of Drambuie by drinking rusty nails all over Christmas. This liquor is far too nice to mix with whisky and he is now drinking it over ice, on its own and really loves it. I think I may have created a problem for myself though, as he keeps hinting about me getting some more for him! I actually like it too, but he has now hidden the bottle, to stop me having a crafty nip....what a git!!

If you hate whisky but like liqueurs, then this is for you. Indeed, if you love whisky, then this is also for you. This is, quite simply, the most sublime whisky liqueur. The sloe berries and honey take away the sharpness of the whisky and what is left, is something so delicious. so smooth and so utterly drinkable, that one bottle is just not enough! Once you buy one, you will quickly be back online, buying another! Delicious.

Sampled this in Edinburgh a year or so ago. I don’t drink whiskey but my husband does and said I should try the sample. It was quite pleasant and we ended up buying a bottle. Searched in local supermarkets here as was going to buy a bottle for my husband but couldn’t find any. This is a smooth whiskey made with honey so quite sweet. My husband loves it and even I have a little tipple.

I was given this as a Mothers day present by my sons. It was in Amazon gift wrap and had a personal message with it. We opened it on the day and it tastes fantastic; it smells like a good Christmas cake. The deep amber colour tastes of liquid raisins, vanilla and plumbs with a hint of smokey whisky as after taste. It lasted 2 weeks before the bottle was empty.... great gift.

Absolutely amazing. I'm not a big whisky drinker but this drink will tickle your taste buds. I tried this in the whiskey shop and immediately went on to Amazon. Bought this twice now. Everytime I've given a glass to people they've loved it.It's sweet. Full of flavour and a great drink to have with ice.Honestly this is my go to drink for a relaxed evening.

I took a chance and bought this for my hubby for one of his Christmas gifts as I hadn't personally heard of this brand before (so many out there) but anyway he was very pleased with it and he did partake of one or two Christmas night so it must be good as hes quite fussySorry I don't drink whisky I don't like the taste so I can only give my husbands opinion

I was introduced to this whiskey many years ago on holiday in Scotland and always bought it from a specialist shop locally in Oxford. During lockdown the bottle was empty, the shop was shut, but then I found it on Amazon! It’s a sweet whiskey liqueur with tones of honey and no harsh alcohol burn. It is a great liqueur for drinking neat.

A very sweet liqueur with no bitter aftertaste, ideal for sipping, but the flavour is very much honey, more akin to a fortified mead than a liqueur. From when we first discovered this, Bruadar has become sweeter, and while this doesn't distract from the enjoyment of it, the subtlety of flavours has become less.

I'm a bar manager and get to try many products. This however, I stumbled upon it at Edinburgh Christmas market and instantly fell in love. Nice strong but smooth honey taste with the slightest hit of the whisky afterwards. I buy often and would definitely recommend even as an after dinner tipple.
