Review of; as this is third replacement order of theses high price machines (Delonghi) Wow I learnt it’s possible that these machines aren’t faulty when I received first two packages add been opened and sent back with no power supply working. It’s possible that on and off button at back off the machine is switched off. Instruction manual do advise to turn on when switching on Do plug in first then switch main power on at top of machine.Tip if ordering different models check up dates reviews for 2015. It’s very possible when people receive these machines they send them back because of no power working do check back of the machine off / on button is switch on do plug in first This machine looks very good not sure of price yet.And instruction manual does tell you about all parts and how to get started and decaling and cleaning areas were needed when using milk. And water type like soft water or hard water areas there is very lot of functions with this machine Loads different types of drinks and drinking chocolate also milk drinks as well and cuppa of tea. You don’t have to buy the expensive dolce Custo box’s or tassimo (pods) but I would recommend the fresh coffee beans for Espresso in some cases fresh coffee beans can be hard to get depending were you live I find that looking at instruction manual and reading it first before switching on there is very lot of options to learn. And looking at parts that come with the machine its good way of having a understanding first before switching onFinally do make sure the button at back of machine is switch on plug in first. Bought a few weeks ago so have had time to fully experience it. Makes great coffee and relatively quickly too. I went for this on a half price offer from VERY and after reading all the reviews. It is well worth the investment and the machine is an investment not like buying a new kettle or toaster for those negative reviews complaining about price. Whilst on the subject of those negative reviews if you fully read all of the instructions cover to cover and fully familiarise yourself with the machine before even plugging it in and then re-read them as you set it up then you will not have any of the problems experienced by those that left poor reviews. It is important not to skip or quickly flick through the instructions.Once familiarisd with the machine it is very easy to use. Couple of tips - set machine to max temp, turn off eco mode, I use a small jug for start up and rinse cycles rather than filling up the drip tray, been a bit lazy and haven't used the milk frother yet, just cold milk to my coffee, so with that in mind i use a regular mug which i find setting machine to extra long coffee and selecting the 2 cups button makes the perfect amount, because I add cold milk I personally put the milk in my mug first along with sugar and microwave it for 40-50 seconds whilst machine is starting up, then I put my mug of hot milk on the coffee machine and select the coffee which will give you piping hot, too hit to drink straight away coffee if this is the option you prefer.

Perfect machine to have during these challenging 'Covid' times, to enjoy the same steaming cup of joe every morning as office, from the comfort of home, with the beans of choice! It has worked flawlessly so far. Since I'm an espresso shot coffee drinker, its pretty easy to use. But when i have to prepare 'milk' based coffee drinks for my family, like cappuchino, there is some effort/time involved in keeping things clean from hygiene point of view, even though the machine supports milk container nozzle rinsing along with coffee nozzle rinsing. But the end result is so amazingly same as that from a coffeeshop, there really hasn't been a need to visit one, since the arrival of this product.Kinds particularly enjoy the frothing milk!Hot water availability all the time is an added advantage. Though the pre-ground coffee option is available, it does choke at times with slight quantity variation, so this feature isn't that practical to use too much.Its a pretty compact to fit product on the kitchen top.Overall its been a welcome addition to our family, i must say.Read full review...

Well let’s start at the top, we have had a tassimo coffee machine prior to this. What a huge difference in taste, ease of use and quality. My husband should of brought this years ago, and I could have been a barista coffee maker at home. Easy to set up, easy to use, yes read the booklet, yes make sure you set up your cup size. This is a machine for lazy people who like good coffee, with a frothy milk addition. I have even made a cup of tea using the hot water facility. We brought it in the Black Friday sale and saved money. But in the opinion of mine and my husbands it’s worth every penny.

I have wanted one of these for years but always just out of my reach.,,,until Black Friday at Very. Managed to buy one before they were out of stock and it arrived very quickly. Our son, also a coffee fanatic, is quite envious and having seen it in action cannot wait to get his. Relatively straight forward to set up and once done is ready every time at the press of a button. Auto reminders for water, coffee, empty used grinds etc etc. One can see why it is so expensive but it does a fantastic job, as did Very getting it to us at such an excellent price.

This is a fantastic machine, I have never had a bean to cup machine before, and I have always been a bit skeptical of getting one, however, I do not regret it for one moment.Its easy to use, fairly easy to keep clean, and makes wonderful coffee.My only gripe is the user interface for making drink customisations isnt really intuative, but once you figure it out, it does the job.I`d deffinatley buy one again should the need arise.

Been looking into buying a beans to cup machine for sometime and this ticked all the boxes. Did scan the instructions but a lot easier to YouTube a few examples so knew what to do straight away. Not changed any settings which were all preset and have enjoyed all coffees so far and even just the water for a cup of tea, so good bye kettle and old pod machine too, seems to do everything even the cleaning part!

Having bought the Elletta bean to cup coffee maker to replace the Esam 5500 which had given very satisfactory service, we are delighted to find the new machine outperforms the old machine in virtually every way. The milk menu allows a wide variety of coffees at the touch of a button, whilst the temperature is pleasingly higher. No hesitation in recommending this machine to any coffee lover.

bought as a christmas gift for my husband,previously i had brought him a pod coffee machine but he rarely used it as he wanted a better taste for him (i didnt mind it) so he loves this only thing he wishes was that it provided longer drinks but its easily rectified by pressing 2 cups for the one mug. overall its a great coffee machine and i have a happy husband :)

Ok, will its still only early day (a week), but I have to say that the ground coffee that we have had to use up, is so much better than our previous machine.This is our first (and hopefully last), bean to cup machine.The machine is clever and easy to use, even though to get the correct quantity of coffee (very long coffee), was tricky last first.

This is the second one of these I’ve boughtThe coffee it can make is superbIt is a complex machine with everything being able to customise However saying that it is simple and quick to setup and give you great coffeeEverything can be changed from water temperature to how long between service intervals You will not be disappointed

1-the default settings are bitter2-set the tempreture to high3-adjust the default settings to slightly more milk and a lot more coffee4-the strengh can be altered easily from the control panel for individual servingsI have found with the above settings you can get a realy nice HOT coffee

It's almost as expensive as my car and has warranted a gourmet coffee subscription. This is an 'investment' for me, lifetime (if serviced) coffee heaven at the touch of a button. Laters Costa! Instructions are clear for set up... Any coffee type beverage at the touch of a button or three.

Upgraded to this from previous model. Milk container makes it ultra easy to make a great frothy coffee! Lots of variety and great to be able to programme the machine to deliver exact amount for cup size. Nice and easy to use and doesn't get too messy either

Only had this machine a week but already love it i can get the same great tasting coffee i get in my local weatherspoons in less than a minute and my son love the hot milk function for making hot chocolate Great machine and would highly recommend it
