I bought this screen due to my old 28" ViewSonic screen finally failing after 11 years of use and I absolutely did not want to downgrade to a 16:9 monitor. Unfortunately, 16:10 screens of a decent size are very rare now.The plus points for this screen are that it's a beautiful size and aspect ratio, the colours are gorgeous and it can can provide stunning quality and clarity when doing normal tasks and photo editing in Windows.Unfortunately, there is a lot of backlight bleed in the bottom left & right corners. If you fire up a game and get to a darker bit, the bottom corners are decidedly grey. It's possible to minimise this a bit by dropping the brightness and raising contrast a bit to compensate,
