After reading the reviews for this monitor here on Amazon I was feeling hesitant to order this monitor but it just looked so good with regards to its "infinity display" design. And by that I'm talking about the very thin plastic bezel around the edge of the display. But my concerns were unwarranted as the display is absolutely gorgeous. I'm no stranger to display technology and I consider myself quite picky when it comes to how I like my displays to look (colour temperature, contrast, brightness, viewing angles etc). And although this isn't a professional display with a wide colour gamut it is a true 8-bit IPS panel with 175 degree viewing angles. Some other reviewers have commented about flickering when connected to certain computers.Initially I also experienced this issue but it turned out that the included Display Port to Mini-Display Port cable is not very well shielded and when draped across an AC power cord (like the one that powers the monitor) it would cause interference which manifested itself in the display and computer disconnecting from each other. Simply moving the cables apart fixed this issue and I have not once had it happen since I did that. The picture quality is really nice, inside the box you get a piece of paper indicating the display has been calibrated by Dell from the factory. This is common with their displays going back many years. I would say that they did a great job, it was setup around 50% brightness, 50% sharpness and all the colours look great to me. I have some other monitors which have also been calibrated and its colours, temperature and contrast look about the same as those which is to say, very good. The only thing I don't like about the display is when you disconnect it from a computer it doesn't go into standby straight away. Instead it brings up a timer counting down 4 minutes and then it enters standby. This doesn't occur if the computer is simply being shutdown while connected to the display which means this issue is really only confined to people using the display with a laptop. It's not a huge deal of course it's just a little quirk that I find annoying.Apart from that the display is great, the super-slim bezels coupled with what I would consider an amazing IPS 4K panel make for a great display. If you don't need or want bezels this small (I measured them with a tape measure to be 4mm thick with no extra blank space between the bezel and the LCD pixels) then you will likely be able to find an alternative 4K monitor for around £400. This display as of this review was £600. For me the slim bezels were worth taking a chance. One last thing to note, it does come with a 100x100 vesa mount and does include the four screws you would need to use that mount. The stand that comes with the monitor doesn't need any tools to fit, you just put it in place and it locks itself down. The stand is quite nice offering a wide freedom of motion and looks quite stylish, as does the entire monitor really.

I bought this to connect to my new 2018 Mac Mini as my old screens (Dell's older 2209WAs) weren't holding up well. What's not to like? This is a 25" 1440p IPS screen. Not the biggest or highest resolution, but exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price point - it's noticeably better than the smaller screens but not as high resolution as the bigger ones which cost twice as much.Very light compared to the older models I have and the stand is much more adjustable, allowing for a higher position. The bezel is tiny and the buttons are all responsive. Having them below the screen is a much better design than the front-facing buttons on the old monitors which could easily be knocked.I have it connected by Thunderbolt/USB Type-C directly to the Mac.I wish the USB ports which came out of the side came out of the bottom instead, because I can't actually use them in a multi-monitor setup; there isn't enough space without leaving an unsightly gap between the screens! I don't think there would even be enough space for a thin right angled connector. But there are a couple of additional USB ports on the back so it's still a benefit overall. The monitor is gloss rather than matte but the anti-glare coating does a good job and I can use it next to my office window just fine. Now I just need to resist buying a second...

I received this monitor earlier on today after ordering it yesterday with prime.Firstly, It was a hard choice for me to decide between getting this or the older Dell P2715Q which has a lot of really great reviews.I am glad that I decided to take the risk and go with this monitor, even with the fairly mixed reviews it has received online so far. The screen is very crisp and the colours are punchy, and also the build quality is impressive with the stupidly thin bezels and incredibly versatile stand. So far I’ve spent a couple of hours with it connected via a display port 1.2 cable to my MacBook Pro and it works perfectly. This is what I’m primeraly going to be using it for as I work I the audio industry (using software such as ProTools,Logic Pro X, Abelton mainly).I have also tested it briefly with my Xbox One X just out of curiosity (playing Far Cry 5, Gears of War 4 and Fortnite) and it performed great, definitely making the most of the monitors HDR capabilities. If you can’t tell, I’m very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this monitor. If you end up picking one up too, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Was using a 8 year old TN monitor and after much consideration I decided to go for a ips 60hz monitor. I choose the u2719d mainly because of DElls 3y warranty that covers single pixel defect( no other company does this), and if you have done some research you will know that IPS monitors are plagued with quality control issues.Besides the warranty, the monitor has a excellent out of the box calibration and I was lucky enough to receive one with almost no black light glow so even in dark screens you dont notice it is an IPS monitor. There are other cheaper monitors with similar specs but I am more then happy to pay extra for quality and the excellent warranty. In terms of picture quality its more clear and a bit stronger colors than my old TN monitor but isnt that of a big jump in image quality as I wrongly believed after reading multiple statements online that IPS is much much better then TN.

I bought this as an update for an early Dell 23" 4K panel that went to monitor heaven unexpectedly, and what a difference a few years have made. Windows 10 detected it and set it up with no problems at 4k and at a full 60Hz refresh rate. It doesn't have any of the problems with heat or sleep mode glitches that the one it replaced did.Crisp, well calibrated out of the box, comprehensive cables for PC and Mac - have tried my Macbook Pro over USB-C and my PC over Displayport, both worked seamlessly, and the built in USB hub is giving me better speeds on the wi-fi adapter plugged into it than the outgoing monitor. No dead pixels, backlight looks decent at the edges. Very happy.

I choose to replace an ageing DELL 32" display - which many years ago cost about £1000 and had done long good service - but was starting to suffer a little burn in and had a fairly low resolution by modern standard.Rather than go for the 32" 4K DELL at about £1100, I choose to opt for a pair of 27 inch 4K display - giving me twice the resolution and much more screen for my money. The 2 27 screens are now position one above the other using a pair of Ergotron stands - and look stunning - 4K video captured with my Sony RX100 VI looks stunning on one of them - and I can continue to work on the other...

I'm really enjoying this monitor. I like the thin bezels and the easy to access brightness settings. No fiddling around wondering what button does what, it is clear as day (comes up on the screen and the buttons are well spaced out). The assemblage was easy, no tools, everything fits in together and feels secure. I really enjoy being able to make the screen portrait and landscape (the usual). It makes working on different types of documents easier and more enjoyable, therefore making me work more efficiently. All in all, no complaints. I like the space grey stand as well it is quite sleek.

I am connecting this with my work laptop. FYI those 2 cables you get - the small blue one is so that the USB will function your hardware (i.e. mouse/keyboard via USB) - otherwise you can only use the USB ports for things like charging your phone. The other one (looks almost like HDMI) I can't use this on my Lenova laptop, however, it is the HDMI alternative.Make sure you have a good HDMI cable lying around as you will need this for connection with regular laptops. Also there are no speakers on this but there is a port for headphones on the monitor.

This is a fabulous 4K monitor that I use with my i7 PC and with my XBox One S and PS4 Pro. Amazing picture quality, rich and vibrant colours. I have configured one of the pre-sets to switch HDR on and off - On for PS4 Pro/XBox One S gaming and Off for Windows tasks (otherwise your picture will look washed out). This is a great looking monitor with very thin bezels and a great stand that is height adjustable, tiltable and rotates. Comes complete with a three-year warranty from Dell. If you like nice stuff, this is the 4K HDR monitor to purchase.

27" at 1440p is perfect for me and this monitor does not disappoint, exactly like all Dells I have ever used. I had the 24" 1080p version before this one and the colours are improved with the newer model. I have three of these and the contrast/colours are even across them all. Never had a dead pixel with any Dell. There are some comments about backlight bleed on these "Infinity Edge" models, and whilst there definitely is some of that, I don't think that is a particular problem unless viewing a fully dark screen, and when do you ever do that.

I have used many screens during my career in video editing however this is hands down the best so far.The screen is MASSIVE and has made me go from having two monitors to one again!?! Baffling I know! The resolution is amazing and even when pixel peeping I didn’t see any massive issue that would effect most tasks. In terms of video editing after sorting out a colour profile this has been amazing, it’s worked really well and I love bing able to see things in so much detail.

My last Dell monitor served me well for many years before it expired. I am very happy with this replacement and expect it to serve me well for years too. The picture image is ultra-sharp, as the name suggests and the screen is more matted than the screen on my last monitor, so it is easier on the eyes and has less glare. I love, too, that the stand allows me to swivel the screen, perfect for reading and writing of long documents.

This is my first 4K monitor I did a lot of research before purchasing this one. I do want two of these. so at some point this year I will be buying another. Picture quality is excellent and plenty of space to work with because of the high resolution. I work in IT and this is perfect for all IT related workloads as you can fit so much on to the screen. Only downside is a little expensive.

I actually meant to buy the 2K version, but ended up buying the 1080p, however this ended up being a perfect secondary monitor (I watch movies/podcasts while working on primary monitor). The stand is also very sturdy, and fully-adjustable.The monitor is great for gaming, however please remember that this is only a 60Hz monitor, so it may not be the best for first person shooters.

Being used as a second monitor to accompany a Dell U3415W. The colour profiles are a little off, bit given the panel construction is quote different I wasn't expecting them to match perfectly. The OSD is a little limited but all the basic functionality is present. The bezels are super slim all around and I can imagine a pair of them would go very well together.
