I've tried a lot of graters. One of the issues I have is being able to grate a great quantity of ingredients with ease. This one does that. It works with softer ingredients such as mozzarella or hard ones like carrot and potato. It makes beautiful thin ribbons (not clumsy chunks). The handle is comfortable to hold onto. The shape and the silicone piece at the front end mean you can both grate right on top of a bowl or onto a flat surface and it won't slide. But mostly it glides while it grates in such a way that I once grated my thumb on it and didn't realize because it didn't hurt. Only I realized about 30 seconds later I was bleeding quite a lot and had to throw out a batch of grated cheese.

I bought this hand grater to go along with my Cuisipro box grater and i love both of them. They are extremely sharp and require low effort on cheese and vegetables. The included cover for this hand grater can also be snapped on the back of the grater to act as a measuring cup, which is very handy.

Love this grater... very sturdy... works like a charm. Easy to clean & store with snap on safety cover. Great tool for the kitchen. I purchased the coarse grater .

My wife finds it a bit too sharp (and hence scary – also a bit too fine for carrots) but I think it's ace! Grates through cheese like a knife through butter…

Preferring this to a box grater as so sharp. Rubber end prevents slipping. Grater is finer than I had expected /hoped for

brilliant little tool for the kitchen - works wonders on cheese, grating it very finely and not making a mess.

And stays sharp. Strong. Doesn't break easily like previous models. Comes with a protector for storage.

The blades are so sharp and the sheese is grated curly and fluffy. Perfect !
