On an A7Smk2 focusing is slow but thats to be expected with non native sony lenses, I heard things are faster nealy as good as native lenses on the AR2. The one thing I don't like about this product, is that it does not allow you to use IS on a canon IS lens, when used on A7Smk2, even when internal IBIS is turned off. This is critical because I prefer IS on lenses when using a zoom lens, because using camera body IBIS would require you to constantly change the mm IBIS setting when changing focal distance. I am disappoint I cant use lens IS on a A7Smk2 with this product.

From reviews I read, I expected some dark edging when connecting my 11-16 Tokina to a full-frame Sony A7ii, but there was none, even at f11, so this little adapter has saved me money and hassle. Very pleased with connectivity too - af works fine and lens data is accurate for DXO.

Great price for a decent product. After a few months there was a little play on the mount to the lenses. I can see that causing problems in the future.
