I love Columbia jackets. I had one for Years that tracks all over the world, when it finally died the death of too much wear I was looking for a new one. Columbia makes good lightweight everyday jackets that are perfect for travel. These aren’t usually terrific for serious hiking, but for a day hike they are fine. Now this jacket fit Everywhere but in my shoulders. I have many medium women’ jackets and usually that fits, but alas. This one was too tight. I think a large would fit, if be a little bulky around the waist. However, as it is, it’s not usable or comfortable for me. I handed it to my much slighter friend and she said it fits perfectly. She will be testing it for me, But she is closer to a size 6,

I have a Columbia Men’s Tryon Trail Shell Jacket. This Columbia Women’s Ulica Jacket has some similarities. The Ulica is more form-fitting, comes down over the fanny, and is lighter overall. I'd actually like to have the Ulica in a men's cut rather than the Tryon, which is heavier (almost twice as heavy) and has a hood tucked into the collar (uncomfortable). The Ulica has a hood, zippered pockets, and a mesh inner lining. I wish the arms were about 1 inch longer. If you are tall or have long arms, it may seem too short.

This jacket is nice looking, but I have a few problems with it.1. This zipper is tiny. I think if I had not noticed before jerking the zipper apart when I could not get it to work, I would have broken it off.2. This jacket is not windproof or warm.3. The sensation of when cold water drops hit your bare arms through the fabric is bizarre. It feels like the cold water is falling directly on you, but you are not wet. Imagine how it would feel if were pouring and windy? Ouch.All in all, it is a nice looking jacket.

This is a great jacket. It's surprisingly warm for a how light it is. It fits perfectly and is lightly lined, but the lining keeps my body heat in well, but without making me feel overheated. The quality of the fabric is evident as soon as you put it on. I love the way it looks too. It does keep the water off well too. The rain just beads up and rolls off the surface. Overall, I love everything about this jacket!

I am used to the tight fit of Columbia coats, but this one is a tad TOO small. I ordered a size medium (when I usually wear a mix of small/medium), and I wish I'd gotten this coat in size large. This coat is ridiculously tight. Size up is my advice.Other than that, this is a very thin waterproof rain coat made of a breathable fabric. It has two pockets with zippers, and a hood. Looks great.

We recently had a bout of rainy weather and this jacket came in handy for that. The jacket is lightweight and waterproof. It did a great job in keeping me dry. The fits comfortably although I needed to go up a size because it was tight around my bust. Fabric is not itchy and it dries quickly. Columbia has always been a good brand and this jacket does not fall short.

This is a nice looking, functional jacket. I do think it runs just a tad bit smaller than expected for this brand. I have a lot of stuff from Columbia, so when I compare to other jackets and other items, it seems a little smaller than usual. Not quite too small, but noticeably more snug. It is waterproof and gives just enough warmth for damp early spring days.

This jacket has very nice material, will last you a long time. I’m on the taller side and it fit me very well. I do have longer arms and sometimes that can be a problem finding jackets but this one has long enough arms. I found this to be very waterproof. I went for an hour hike in the rain and came out dry. The wind does come through a little bit.

This is the perfect lightweight raincoat. Columbia is our family's go-to brand and this hooded jacket is thin enough for me in FL but waterproof enough to keep me dry while walking the dogs. I'm a 36DDD and the large fits me great. Since Columbia tends to be cut on the smaller size, order up, especially if you intend to layer.

I love the cut of this jacket and the quality. I just wish it was a tad bigger. It's a little tight in the shoulders and not quite long enough. If it's raining enough to need this jacket, I want it to cover more of my pants. Otherwise I really like it.

I like this jacket, but it fits pretty snug. I usually like my coats/jackets/hoodies a little bit looser, so I’d recommend ordering a size up. All my other Columbia stuff are larges end fit me just right, but I should have ordered a size up.

I love the lightweight fabric. It is water resistant and a good windbreaker. It feels good on. For sizing, you might want to go up one size. I can usually wear large, but I would prefer extra large in this jacket.

It is elegant for multipurpose. Effective on windy days and very breathable in times of heat. Recommendable.

I really like this jacket as a shell and would’ve gave 5 stars except one pocket zipper is stuck closed.
