I definitely would recommend this garlic press to anyone who uses garlic all the time. I love that it does (like my older one) store the unused portions with ease. I wish it where larger in size to I could store more garlic in it for my daily use and that is the only thing I would say could be better. It is made of good quality, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to keep in Fridge without anything drying up inside. Other then that, its just great. I did not even think that I could replace the one I gave to my daughter and I missed that one so much. BUT searching on amazon I found this one and I am glad. I recommend this especially for older people who still enjoy cooking.

Surprisingly good. It is all plastic, but the design does not seem to put undue strain on just one pivot point, as do most presses - which often break. It also has a built-in cutter on the bottom to cut off squeezed pulp. I gave this one a 4-star, since it does have one little problem: when I go to clean it, it is difficult to get the press-head out of the tube. A long skewer works to pop it out, but they should have built it so that it would pop out by removing the bottom and turning the press handle a little more. "Annoying" but not a deal-killer. For the price, it's pretty good - so far.

I am always on the lookout for gadgets that make garlic use easier without having to peel garlic every single time I wish to cook as sometimes I just do not have the time.I was sceptical regards this item but now it is one of my most used gadgets, I fill it up with peeled garlic (it holds around 1 largish bulb) and pop it in the fridge and every time I need garlic I just take it out the fridge twist and serve.It is easy to take apart and clean no fiddling around and it has replaced all my other garlic gadgets.Now if they could only make one for fresh ginger.............

I have used this product for years, and recommend it highly. I have had surgery on my right hand and have lost some strength in that hand. Therefore, I cannot use a traditional garlic press. I am so fortunate that I found this product which does the job perfectly. Some people complain it is difficult to remove the press head located inside the cylinder. I recommend using a chopstick to push it out. I cannot comment on the newer model, since my original model continues to work fine ( I have had it for years and use it often).

A friend turned me on to this garlic press and it took me over a year to find one 2,000 miles from home.After I purchased it I found that I needed another one for myself and my son also wanted one. This timeI found it on line but only to find out they are discontinuing production. Hopefully they will soon comeout with a new improved model although I think it is perfect already. My family loves garlic and this isa very handy tool in the kitchen.

Fantastic product! It ensures you get all the juices from the garlic and you can keep the garlic you haven't used in the press in the fridge for the next time. Delivery was also efficient. I highly recommend this product to anyone that likes to use a lot of garlic. Very efficient product!

It works well, but if you don't use it for a few days, the garlic dries out and gets a bit stale. Usually not a problem in our household. (Amazon requires a minumum of words for reviews, so I should describe how I used this garlic press to fight off a hoard of armed home invaders.)

This is the best garlic "crusher" that I've ever used.It's easy to use, easy on the hands and wrist and aa breeze to clean.My previous one broke after many years of use and itwas a real search to find a place to buy a replacement.As a result, I bought two of them!

Been using this type of garlic press for years. Maybe a tiny pain to clean, but nothing that a chopstick or skewer cannot remedy. We use only the amount of garlic we need. No storing. Have given many as gifts. New style right now seems fine.

True to other reviews, the handle is y shaped instead of T shaped like the picture reflects. Aside from that no complaints so far. Definitely better than the painted hunk of junk I was using.

These are great presses for garlic and I also slice ginger and push it through this as well.Cut the ginger across and you will not get "hairs" in the crushed

This is the best product for mincing garlic. I have also given it as a present to friends. The item received has a different top than the one pictured.

A very good item, but needs a better end cover, one that is easily removed/recapped for storage. Does a very good job of mincing. Easy to clean.

I love this style of garlic press the most & this one is made well with heavy duty materials that seem like they should last a good long time.

Really like this. But, be sure to watch the Chefn video on how to use it. I broke my first one becvause I did not watch the video.
