This printer is recommended by Which. I may have got the last one in Europe (note to Canon, keep making it!), but it was worth the search. The print quality is very good, and the colour printing pretty good too. It is a bit slow and a little noisy when it prints and yes, the cartridges are quite expensive, but it doesn't do much of that chuntering that printers do, using up your ink. It's also relatively small (38 x 38cm) so it fits well in my limited space. I haven't copied yet, but the scanning quality is excellent.

Good printer and scanner. Print movement a little noisy, but not excessive.
