When I bought this I do admit I spent a few hours trying to enable to wifi, to no avail. I was about to give up, when I posted a plea for help on Amazon's Q&A on this page. One gentleman suggested I ring Canon, so I did. Wait time was five minutes at the most and I found the adviser to be friendly, knowledgeable, resolving my issue straight away.Which was, if you want to get the Canon TS3150 onto your home network, to enable wifi printing, all you need to do is press the network button on the printer once, then the WPS button, mine's on the side of my router and then the network button on the printer once more. At this point three bars should appear on the display screen and this means it is wifi enabled. So you can then go to print a document and the computer will say your printer is online. So now it is online, I believe it is worth just under £40. Canon printers are the cheapest to run ink wise. Not only this but it looks good, its relatively fast and quiet, which is all I need for personal use, the ink comes out looking quality and also I like to have the scanning function, which not all printers on the market have (even those more expensive than this one).I think this is the best option on Amazon and therefore probably anywhere right now for home printers. Plus with Canon customer support being fantastic and Amazon's returns policy faultless you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this product.Oh no it broke again but Amazon were great about it, posted a returns label and gave me a full refund.

I bought this so that I could sell items online and print out the postage labels for collection. I went for one of the cheapest printers I could find, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price. Prints out labels very fast and they are perfectly printed. It was a breeze to setup on my Windows 10 laptop and after following the easy setup guide I had the driver and software installed, hooked it up to the wifi and had my first shipping label printed in 10 minutes. One little annoyance was having to install the colour ink cartridge or the printer wouldn't work. I wanted to just install the black cart and wait until I actually needed colour before installing the colour cart. The onlyreal negative is that the ink is very expensive due to Canon putting the print head in the cartridge to get around third party ink sellers. So to buy a new full set of inks it almost makes more sense to just buy a new printer. I have seen some refilled cartridges online, so hopefully they work ok. The other option I have seen is refilling kits that contain a hand held drill bit and syringes to refill the ink carts. I'll update my review when I give it a try down the line.

A cheap and mostly cheerful printer to replace a faulty Canon MG5650 (TS3150 is likely cheaper than getting MG5650 repaired!)Build quality is average at best but then this is a budget printer built down to a price I guess. It was easy to install and set up, it auto detected the relevant wireless network and connected to that network without issue.Note, the standard install routine didn't seem to include the scan driver or software so had to download that from the Canon UK website (the download is called "TS3100 series MP Drivers Ver.1.00 (Windows)") . Once installed, scanning worked fine.Print, copy and scan quality seem pretty good for such a cheap device but print speed is very slow - not aconcern for very light users like me but you may want to consider other products if you print a lot of stuff. As ever, the Amazon delivery service was excellent, arriving the next day as promised. It will be interesting to see how quickly it gets through ink !Update -- the black cartridge supplied with the printer lasted around 7 months under light usage which is pretty good I think. The original colour cartridge is still going strong.

Super impressed with this.To be honest I wasn't expecting that much for £29.99 but I was really pleased to be proven otherwise. Was easy to set up and up and running in about 5 mins. Plug in log onto cannon webite link given, follow simple instructions and voila - done !Wireless connestion was seamless and its pretty much plug and go and with FULL inks, black and colour.Scanning/photocopying facilities and able to switch between black and colour at a push of a button and different size paper.Printed some A4 and was quite quick and really good quality.I cant believe all this for such a price. Cant praise this highlly enough for a small home printer and you get a lot for little money. With the price of ink cartidges nowadays, when these inks run out, I'll just bin it and buy a new one.I honestly cant think of or find anything negative about this or highlight any little niggles or issues as I had none.Brilliant !

Bought it when I had enough of my cheap, wired HP printer that eats £25 (for a double pack, colour and black and white) cartridges in no time and takes ages to print anything, very streaky. Plus it only used the colour cartridges so always ended up with single cartridge purchases which was more expensive. It was a bit fiddly to get the Wifi going on the Canon, the instructions weren’t clear and I know I wasn't alone to struggle, but I have watched you tube videos for it, and once it latched onto the network it worked fine. Love this printer. I can easily photocopy documents. The print output isn't photo quality but it is great for the kids to quickly print homework etc.For some reason to use the wireless facility on my iPhone I had to pay £7.99 for the app. But it works well. Happy with my purchase.

Bought this printer purely because it has a back paper feed. My old canon died and there was nothing at the time with a back feed to replace it. As I have arthritic hands I can't use the fiddly front loading trays the modern printers have, so I ended up with an Epson that had a "one sheet at a time" back feed, but whilst the quality is good, it's a pain to use. The Pixma TS3150 is a bit plasticky but what do you expect for the price. Yes you can only print small sizes on photo quality with gloss paper but the standard quality is still pretty good. I too haven't been able to connect wirelessly but it works fine using a USB cable. Am I glad i bought it, yes I am.

Excellent little A4 printer well worth the money. Has a 'night mode' to reduce noise during settable evening hours - useful if young children in the house or thin walls with the neighbours. Excellent clear colour reproduction, scanner operates either as whole sheet or selected image parts. Switches on and off automatically. Manual copying from flatbed (i.e. no autofeed). Can be set to print mutliple sheets collated in forward or reverse order. Momentary pause when printing between sheets in order to allow previous sheet to dry to prevent ghosting on back of next sheet. On screen display of printing progress and low ink capacity.....Canon can.

So I bought this is a hurry after my cat peed on my old printer. I needed it in a rush and I needed it to work with the ink I already had, it met both of those requirements.I used the app on my phone to print and scan until I decided to install it on my PC, unfortunately it isn't compatible with Windows 8.1. I read that it does work with Windows 10 and 7 which kinda makes me wonder why it doesn't work with 8.I can still use the app on my phone and there are countless ways to get files to my PC, so it's not that big a deal.I'll give it 5 stars when drivers are developed for Windows 8.1.

Very nice printer easy to set up. Maintains its wireless link better than my previous allinones. Print and scan quality very good. Drops one star for me because I do not find the software interface very intuitive unlike previous printers. But that may be me rather than the printer as I do not have a lot of patience as I am getting on in years. So don't let me put you off the printer. A big plus for me is how cost effective the printer cartridges are. Also the trial cartridge lasted for a decent length of time unlike HP cartridges which run out 5 minutes after installing them!

It does the job,it prints well and clear. It does NOT print on both sides of the paper ,something I failed to realise, but then for the price you can't expect bells and whistles?Might not buy it again and go for more expensive, however our last v.expensive printer got destroyed by electric spike after power cut, so if that happened again replacing this one would not be so financially painful.Took a bit of patience setting up,got there in the end.

29.7.2019

Instructions vague not clear that printer wouldn't scan unless you had special authority, and no mention of this anywhere on the carton. Printing providing you are logged in to the internet is crisp. I could only get scanning if I downloaded simple option from Microsoft, which works fine. Bought to do scanning of official documents, medical records etc, printing of documents and copying as it does say on the box.

Setup did not take very long and was fairly straightforward. Test prints are fine.No problems with my Samsung tablet and Sony phone (had to install a new print enabler for the phone). With my wife's Samsung tablet (the same as mine) not as straightforward. Had to uninstall the the Canon print app and reinstall it to find the printer. Not a printer error but the app.So 4 star due to the iffy Canon print app.

Despite the concerns in other reviews, which almost put us off, we had no problems at all setting it up. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and it took us less than 10 minutes to have both the Macbook and iPad set up for Wifi printing and working fine. It's a little slower than our old laser printer, but absolutely fine for home use. Seems a great deal at under £30 so far.

Great printer, very impressed with print quality even though it will only print in plain paper mode unless using canon's own brand paper. Printed some photos on supermarket own brand glossy photo paper and the pictures are bright and good quality. I have used other brands of printer where colours are dull, not the case with this item. Very pleased and great value.

Superb printer/scanner & works well on wi-fi. However the basic 'setup-guide' with the machine might as well be written on Mars. It talks a completely different language & tells you to press buttons that don't exist, & other useless directions to stop you in your tracks. As long as you use Google & common sense you'll manage & then it's a great buy.
