So wish I would of bought the genuine part from Canon, it cost me a small fortune to get the lens repaired after the end of the lens was loosened by the tight fit fitment of this spurious part. Stay well away from this part

I received an original, working Canon hood at a fair price, however it is lightly used (not in original packaging) and the listing did not clearly state that, which I feel was dishonest.
