This game had me impressed from the start with how well it manages to find a well balanced mix of horror, tricky puzzles and stealth while at the same time not relying on combat at all. The gameplay builds the story by focusing on stealth, investigation and dialogue. If you're looking for a typical survival horror then this probably isn't for you, there's a tiny bit of combat but it may makes up no more than a few minutes of the entire game. Horror games usually don't suit health bars and combat stats anyway, as the emphasis on not knowing how vulnerable your character is makes it more unpredictable and adds to the tension. Here you have to try you best to avoid confrontations,

This game was the beginning of me seeking more lovecraftian styles of video games and i was disappointed. This game really does have a great plot. Your choices alter your characters point of view. I reccomend going in fresh dont spoil anything. The less you know the better . This game will make you feel stoned . The graphics have a great style and you really feel youre playing the part of a private investigator. This is an underrated gem that for some reason has been discredited but maybe dont take on too many opinions. Form your own

I love the atmosphere of the game-the graphics are very dated but some of the backgrounds are brilliant. The game mechanics are pretty basic. I do love the detective parts in the game. One downside is that it is very linear but I've not completed it!! Thumbs up so far. If you are a fan of Lovecraft you will find more to enjoy.

Really good game, great atmosphere and tons of Lovecraftian references. There are beautiful graphics that really shows how much time they put into getting the game perfect.Recommended to any Lovecraft or detective game fan.

This is a good game with all sorts of potential outcomes so it has replay ability. Good story, makes you feel like you are in a Lovecraft book.
