I laughed at my wife for buying this game, but once I started playing it one quiet evening I couldn't put it down.The premise is that you have to build up successful bakeries for different clients/friends, using your profits to buy faster and better machines so that you can keep all your customers happy and rack up the cash.It gets progressively harder as customers want fancier cakes with more layers and decoration, while becoming more impatient at the same time. This requires a lot of concentration, and is frustrating, challenging and entertaining all at the same time.I would write more, but I have to get back to the game.

Completely addictive. Cannot put it down - especially when you start earning enough cash to buy upgrades that makes it go faster (it is a little slow to start with). More variety than Cake Mania one - e.g. double layer cakes and more toppings and frosting flavours. However, still not enough "stuff" that you can do. Don't think that the game is long enough. You complete it after 48 levels. Also, the levels don't seem to get significantly more challenging. Ultimately though, still a nifty little game to pass away the time.

....and I still love my DS/3DS. Perfect together. I waited a year for this to drop in price, £15 seemed a bit steep for a 10-12 year old game. But £10 was just fine, thank you. I really wish Sandlot hadn't sold, and with it, the rights to the Cake Mania series. They're literally my favourite casual games, which are now dead. I'm definitely more of a hard core gamer, but these are a guilty pleasure.

Better graphics and sound compared to the first Cake Mania. More levels and an endless game mode which I haven't tried yet (I want to complete the game first!). Menu is a little complex to begin with but you soon get used to it. There are more varieties of customers this time and the lay out of the kitchen is better!Extremely addictive game for all ages!You have to buy it...

This game is too addictive! It's a sad fact that the desire to make as much money from cakes as fast as possible lost me several days of my life and left me with a cracking migraine.Too addictive and too much fun!!

Cake Mania is a good game but the only thing is wrong with it is that the customers dont give you enough time to bake the cake and put icing on top, the customers get angry very quickly.

Very good game, better then the first edition, more game levels and higher targets to achieve. Would recommend to anyone who was pondering on wheather or not to buy.
