I'm giving this a 4* review only for the fact that like many others have said the sizes are completely wrong.I read the reviews and ordered the 9-10 size 140cm for my 6yr old boy nicknamed 'slim', his birthday is June so he's the smallest type of 6yr old in his year at school.The legs were a tiny bit long, but could be folded inside themselves, the body is far too short for any child bigger than slim and leaves no room for any sort of adjustment.It fits him like a glove, but there would be other 6yr olds in his class who this would not fit, plenty of room for (PC, bubbly) children, but if your kid is tall, not a chance.Material wise, some of it is not great, some of it is quality.

After having read other reviews in respect of sizing particularly in respect of the length of the body, I ordered the 9-10 for my soon to be 6 year and although the legs are a little long, it fits fine in the torso so very glad I sized up. Incidentally, I got my 9 year old daughter to try it on and it was practically cutting her in half and she could barely move in it so definitely on the small side! The colours are not quite so bright as they appear in the listing with the green and red/burgundy being much more muted. My son is very pleased with the costume though and is looking forward to wearing it to a forthcoming dragon party.

My daughter's school recently had a World Book Day and the children were invited to arrive dressed up as either a Giant or a Dragon. We searched local shops and the Internet for some time for the right costume, particularly one that was unisex. This one appeared to fit the bill. The item arrived promptly and well packaged. It was an instant hit with my daughter. The fit, quality, attention to detail and colour scheme were excellent. I believe that she was the best dressed dragon on the day. I would strongly recommend this product.Ray D.

Really lovely Dragon costume. Well made using good quality materials. Excellent price so good value for money.....BUT..... I bought the larger size Age 9-10 (140cm) for my slightly taller than average 6 year old and the problem with the outfit was the body length. The overall size was fine, but the outfit was really high cut in the crotch. We had to unstitch and adjust the outfit so he could wear it. If this hadn't of been the case I would have definitely given this review 5*. There is no way this would fit a 9-10 year old.

Excellent quality and looks amazing! Not only did my son love it but so did everyone who saw him in it! I went up 2-3 sizes because the reviews said the costumes come up small and it was a good decision. I got the 5-6 year old size for my 3 year old son, he is a little taller than average but not massively and it fitted him well and I think I can probably use it again next year too, which would be a massive bonus! I can't recommend this enough! Excellent product!!

My son loved this costume. He's a tall 6 year old and it was a perfect fit, so think it would be too small for most 9 year olds.He wore it for school on world book day and kept it on the entire day including a boisterous lunch hour, so we didn't hold out much hope for the state it would be in by the end of the day, but it was perfect, so very sturdy!A good quality costume.

The product arrived on time and was of good quality. It fit my 9 year old daughter, I was a little worried as it looked quite small on the web site. My daughter was delighted with the product and used it for her halloween costume.

Great quality costume, my son had lots of complements on World book day when he wore it. He's 5 but not a very big 5, the legs were plenty long enough but the body only just fitted and pulled a little bit.

Loved it! Bought this for my nephew and he was so happy. Looks lovely and fits like a glove, but this will depend of the child of course. Arrived safely and on time for his school costume party. Thank you

Bought for fairy tale day at school for 4 is old. Costume bought 4-6 & fitted fine, my little boy is tall for his age and this just fit in the body & was long in the legs. My son was very happy with it

Actually bought the medium and it fits my 7 yr old son lovely. I opted for next day delivery, and it came on time. My son loves it and I'm very happy with the quality.

I bought this for my daughter for her 6th birthday. After reading the reviews, I went for the bigger size and I'm glad I did as the 9-10 years fits her perfectly.

Son wore for Julia Donaldson book week and all his classmates teachers loved it. High on crotch so bit small there but fit everywhere else. Went for bigger size
