I bought this from a fancy dress shop for £15.50. I went to the shop to buy a different astronaut costume but they didn't have my son's size, so he tried this on and it actually looks really good on ( i thought it looked a bit tacky in the photo). My son is 4 in 2 weeks and the small fitted him perfectly with a little bit of room. It's a shame it doesn't have a helmet with it but i am going to make one out of papier machie by forming it round a balloon and cutting out a hole. Also going to cover his wellies in crepe bandage for space boots!I think for this price it is a good buy, yes i've seen better stitching on the velcro etc but for the price i think it is good and when it's on it looks

This space suit is possibly one of the most amazing space suits I have ever had the pleasure to have owned; and I used to work for NASA and the Russian Space agency. I took this on my last trip to the International Space Station and it totally owned the space suits the rest of the guys used. In fact I decide to use it for re-entry... without a re-entry vehicle. AWESOMES!!!You may be wondering why this suit only got the 4 star rating. Well I was thinking it would come with the official NASA haircut that is clearly displayed in the photograph. Imagine when my amazon prime post arrived at the I.S.S. and no haircut was included. I was the laughing stock of that entire voyage.

I've bought this basic yet very silvery space suit for my soon to be 4 years old nephew. He has an interest in all things space and will love this.I've got him a size small and after having a look at it out of the bag it looks about right to my John Inman Grace Bros like eye!It is an all in one jumpsuit and looks like something out of a 1950's American sci fi movie. It has an astronaut badge on the chest and the ankles/cuffs are elasticated. This will stop your child freezing in the depths of space I think! :)Not bad for the cheap price and with just a little imagination will be fit for purpose I'm sure.

I had left it late to purchase an astronaut suit. Directed by my child to purchase this one, I was very doubtful if it would arrive next day as it said it would and had to pay the shipping fee as I am not a Prime customer. To my surprise, it arrived in tip top condition and looked amazing on my child, and perhaps boosted his performance in his school assembly. I have to admit, I was doubtful if it would have the same shine as it did in the pic but, it did live up to the picture. Now a 1 hour costume becomes his Hallloween costume and will be jazzed up with country flags etc...

My highly active, tumbling son wore this costume to three Halloween parties and it has survived intact. The fabric is a bit thinner than most, and could tear if caught on something, but it's no worse than typical children's costumes. One difference from the photo -- what appears to be a spaceship patch on the chest is a graphic cheaply screened on the fabric. Not that this mattered to my son.About the fit, my son is 5 1/2 years old and slightly smaller/shorter than average. Size small fits him perfectly right now. I suspect he'll outgrow this costume quickly.

I bought this for my grandson's 3rd birthday together with a cardboard spaceship and space sticker book. He is mad on space travel and had been wearing ladybird patterned wellington boots to travel in so I thought he had better have some more appropriate clothing.He absolutely loves the suit and it is well big enough even though he is tall for his age being elasticated at the ankles and wrists. Caution should be exercised on a hot day out in the sun as it can make the child sweat, but I don't see that as much of a problem.It is also quite robust.

This suit was delivered within the time stated and was ideal for a themed school procession. I purchased the large size eventhough my son is only 5 years old and I was glad that I did as he is on the tall side and I am sure the small one would not have been big enough. As it is, it should last for a couple of years for any further fancy dress days at school or birthday parties. I consider the suit to be good value for money as most others on sale are at least twice the price which I prefer not to pay as I know he will only wear it a few times.

Bought this for my son to wear to play "Buzz Aldrin" in the school play. It is ideal for this, looks the part. I would have given it full star rating as it "does what it says" for a reasonable price, but the sizing, as stated in some other reviews, is less than generous. Definitely go for the next size up. It has elasticated cuffs and ankles, so it is better to have it bigger anyway. My son is six, fairly tall but very thin, I bought age 9-10. It will do, but he definitely doesn't want to lift his arms up too fast!!

Having read a previous review, I decided to buy the large size, rather than the medium for my tall, but slender 6 year old. I am glad I did - although it was slightly long in the sleeves, they turned up nicely as the cuffs are elasticated, and the leg length was fine (again, the elasticated ankle cuffs kept the outfit snug and safe from trips). I suspect the medium size would have been much too tight on him. In all, a very decent little outfit for the price, and I'm sure it will be used again!

Bought for World Book Day. I bought the medium size for my 7 almost eight year old, as from reading previous reviews the sizing ran a bit small. It fit perfectly, and my son was delighted. The fabric is lightweight, but not flimsy. My son was comfortable all day, but he did get a bit hot as the suit does not breathe that well. I received the item as advertised (and paid for) on the next working day. I would highly recommend this product and seller.

I was abit unsure about what size to order going by other peoples reviews on this but i would say it is acurate for the age it describes. My daughter is an average if slightly taller 5 year old and the medium size was plenty big enough on her. She is quite slim though so it could do with a belt round the middle.All in all though for the money it is very good value and she can't wait to wear it to her space party at school!

Does what it says it would and looked great on my children in the space themed school asembly- they made helmets to go with it and received lots of positive comments! good for dressing up box after. Also very quick delivery and prompt response from seller when I stated I needed them by a certain date :) Would recommend both seller and product.

90 children over a period of 6 weeks have used these costumes with great delight. they look great and are wearing well. only criticism is that the Velcro fastening is very harsh on the fabric, sticking to amd breaking down the shiny finish. However with general domestic use this prob wouldn't be an issue! would buy again

Bought this for my 6yr old son to wear to school for space day, he was very, very happy. Having read the reviews, I decided to go for the biggest size and it was a perfect fit for him. Some of the white from the material was left on his skin when he took off his costume, but comes off with a shower so not a big deal.

My daughter needed something quickly for a school play. It arrived 2 days after ordering, which was brilliant. It is really good for the price you pay. Bought the large as she is a tall 6year old. It is a little baggy on her, but will get more use out of it which is what I really want in the end.
