This was a present for a grandchild, aged 2 years, to add to their BRIO set. They really liked it especially the ticket machine which makes various ticket, station, and train noises when you press it. It requires batteries to make the sounds and these are supplied, 2 x LR44. But the small size of this battery means that it can be dangerous if swallowed, so keep away from children who may be tempted to put them in their mouths.This BRIO train station is mostly made from plastic, and I have a feeling that it won't last as long as other BRIO which is usually mostly wooden.However, it provides lots of scope for imaginative play with the noisy ticket machine and also the waiting room which has sliding doors.

I honestly am not sure who was more excited about this being delivered, me or my little one? I love it!This station can either be used attached to a small bit of train track that it comes with making it part of your track. It can also be detached from the track and be placed anywhere around the track you wish.The little man figure it comes with also comes with a piece of lost property. The little man is able to hold the bag and the bag also fits in the luggage racks in the station waiting room. Amazing!There is a little button on the floor which when pressed it makes a filling up noise. Great addition.I am really pleased with this item and wish I had purchased it off my wish list sooner.

This has simply transformed my sons brio train set. It's so much fun. The ticket machine makes a fun ticket/train/station noise and the waiting room doors open. It comes with a passenger and his enormous piece of luggage (which can't fit on the train). It provides interactive, imaginative play and fun, fun. It comes with batteries (like all products should, but don't). The platform connects to a specifc railway track piece which comes with it - it can easily be slotted anywhere on your track.There's a lot of plastic - but aside from this I HIGHLY recommend it, my son (3 years of age) would also recommend this for anyone from 2+. Worth the money.

Another great piece of brio kit. This has stood up to a 'stress-test' by a two-year-old, and come out the other side. It has little lockers for suitcases, a loud but not too annoying sound system, and goes really well with standard brio track.

Standard Brio really. Very well made station. Great addition to our set. Gave 4 stars as it's a little annoying the piece of track for the trains isn't just attached to the station. Have to find it each time.

This was a present for my Grandson who thought is was just fab. going along with his train set. By the way it was easy to order online and delivery was prompt.

Bought as birthday presenter man 5 year grandson. He loves his Brio (he has miles of it) and this is a really nice touch. Recommend.

Nice added extra, train waiting room. Press button and it makes a ticket sound, plus train sound.

My son lives this. It's quite large and the sound is very loud for him - the best part he says!
