Chosen because: It looked like one of the better train sheds (not really a garage, as garages don't stay on the track :)Expectations: Met in full. Brio has a good name and generally, quality is to be expected.Description: Just as in the Amazon image and description, with one additional benefit - when the shed/garage door is rotated (chimney) the door will lift and close from and to either side and, when the door is not in use, it fits neatly in the ceiling. Neat!Price: No getting away from it, Brio is very expensive, whether this is worth its price will depend on its life expectancy and, from my evaluation of the product, I'd say yes, as it looks built to last,

This Train Garage is a fun addition for a Brio train set. It fits into the standard track and functions as a tunnel when the shutter door is open. A large red plastic knob is turned in order to raise and lower the shutter door. This door can be closed at either end of the garage (but not both sides at once). The knob can be quite stiff to turn so it may not work for younger children.Although the plastic features make the tunnel more realistic and interesting, I have reservations about it. Brio used to be mainly made from wood, and as a result it lasts many years. Plastic simply doesn’t last as long, so there’s a compromise.Overall,

I brought this tunnel for my little one to match another plastic item he already had for his track from Brio.I was originally put off from buying the plastic items from Brio for the wooden train track but this item is a great addition to our collection and I would recommend.The sliding door is brilliant as you simply just have to twist the red button on the top of the tunnel to slide the door up and down. It is a nice addition as it is something different compared to your standard tunnel.My little one finds plenty of joy playing with this so I would say money well spent.

This was another item I watched for a discount and is now safely stored away for Christmas. We are train mad ATM but do not like dead ends. This was perfect as it will work as a tunnel/garage but still allow the train to go through. The closure works with a simple twist so I'm hoping will be easy to work although I can't comment yet. Brio always looks great quality and I'm hoping it will be a great addition to our set.

A huge hit with the little one, who hardly let go of it throughout the day. Note that when you turn the knob to open the roller-shutter door to the engine shed, if you keep on turning it closes at the other end, which is really neat. This little in-line engine shed seems to be integrated into railway games a lot more readily than the roundhouse type that have a turntable.

My son loves this! He is fascinated by how it operates, he’s just 2 years of age. The garage is sturdy (Brio quality) and nice looking. However, what’s really great about this garage is that it can also double up as a tunnel - all you need to do is keep the shutter doors on either end of the garage open at the same time, enabling trains to pass through.

I bought this for my grandson aged 2, despite Brio specifying that it (and most other Brio train products) are for 3+ years. He rapidly understood how to raise and lower the doors. Its main function at present is to act as a tunnel, with the doors up. Like all Brio products it is great, well-made and an interesting addition to the track.

This garage is very well made, and looks like it was made to last. It can be used as a train garage (open at one end) or if you open the door it can be used as a tunnel (open at both ends). The red knob can be turned to open the door, this can be done easily enough by my son who just turned 3. It is a great addition to his train set.

This is a great sturdy little garage. Even though the roof/door are plastic, they also seem they will last while little ones use their imagination at play. This is a gift, and hasn't been used yet, but it is a great addition to a wooden railway track.

Made us laugh our Grandson shouted a Station, but in time he will learn its real use, but for now it's a Station, we bought it for his 5th Birthday and loves it.It is wood track and plastic, Grandson loves it.I have not seen it out the box yet.

Good train garage. It’s Brio so you know it is well made. Fits existing set ( 30 years old) so no worries . Kids will love playing with this . Putting the trains in an closing the door. A great addition to your sets.

Bought for our grandson of 4, who loves working the shutter, trapping an engine inside the shed! But his younger brother of 2 can also get fun from it too, he can operate the shutter. A great buy for them both.

A super addition to the Brio train set that our Grandson has. All the Brio accessories are so well made that they will bring pleasure for years to come, to both the lucky recipient and grandparents alike.

We love Brio, there can be no doubt that it has the best range however there are an increasing number of alternatives that are increasing the quality and range for a fraction of the price.

my grandson loves the brio train set which has actually been in our family now for over 30 years. so we are adding some new more modern pieces. He loves this as it has a door you can close
