This is a duel lip liner and lipstick in one. The shade of this is a pale pink lipstick with a slightly darker dusky pink liner. The idea is that this is supposed to save time on applying your make up, by having the lip liner and lipstick built as a 2-in-1, so that you don't have to apply the lip liner, then the lipstick. It is a good concept, but to get it to work properly, you have to apply it more carefully, which still takes time, as you need a steady hand to get it to go on evenly from the applicator. It does give a defined line between the colours if you are very careful, then you can just smooch your lips together to blend the 2 for a finished look. The duo lipstick comes in a twist action pen,so you just twist the end to reveal more of the product.I quite like the colours on this, as they appear very natural and just add that hint of extra colour, without looking over done. It is an ideal duo of shades for daily wear..Overall, not too bad, but doesn't save much more time, as you have to apply it very carefully to get the right effect and it is fair value for money for a combination of lippy and liner at it's current price, but I wouldn't pay more than it's current price of £7.99.

As a season and slightly jaded reviewer, this product really impressed me well us if you include my wife. This Bourjois Sweet Duo Lipstick, Number 01, Pink Twice has an awful lot going for it.You really can get stunning, almost professionally applied effects quickly and easily. The effect is an amazingly beautiful graduated effect. For once the photographic illustrations in the description really do justice to this fabulous applicator. It has simple, built-in applications like a simple twisting mechanism that automatically keeps the head sharp and ready to apply to get perfect results time after time. The taste and I can vouch for this after kissing my wife- (the things I have to do to write reviews for Amazon you wouldn't believe but Amazon readers are worth it)is not too strong, not too weak and it has staying power. But of course, it's the looks that count. The matt pink easily blends and those graduated tones look quite frankly marvellous. That stylish darker outer and graduated colour really makes your lips look sensational. This Product really impressed us and we are sure it will impress you too.Recommended.

This lipstick has an unusual squarish tip, a bit like a chinagraph pencil, which i assume is meant to allow a more precise application. One edge of the tip is a darker shade than the rest of the bullet, so can be used as a liner or to provide an ombré effect, all in one application. You twist the base to push up the lead and there’s a striped cap to cover it when not in use, a bit like a marker pen. The product itself has a lovely creamy finish with a soft sheen rather than a gloss, and the coverage is dense enough to be reasonably resistant to eating and drinking. The only thing I wasn’t 100% sold on was the shade - Peach Shake. It’s not full on tangerine, more a sort of coral or salmon pink, but I am just a tiny bit wary of anything with orangey tones in as it can make teeth look somewhat yellow. Lovely formulation - Bourjois really deliver on quality for relatively low cost - but perhaps pick a more berry shade.

The end of this lipstick is very ‘blocky’ in shape. I assumed that it is designed this way so you can see both colours of this lipstick and when you apply you have a slightly bolder shade that shapes and defines your lips. I like this idea, but did anyone consider the application process? You have to swivel this around in your hand until you find the correct position you need, and the brick shape isn’t the smoothest application or offers perfect precision. Those gripes aside, I like both colours in this lipstick and their resulting combination. There is a neutral colour that looks peach on my pale complexion (about ¾ of the total lipstick) The remaining ¼ is a deep pink that takes on a pinkish coral colour on me.When combining both colours, you get a summery light pinky peach colour. I like that this product has a twist bottom so there’s no need to look for a make-up sharpener, I just wish it had a smoother tip.

Sweet duo lipstick.....A twist up lip pencil which has two complimentary shades in the one stick.Use......A twist to the base brings up a rectangular stick, you then apply to the lip with the darker shade on the outside of the lip.The shape of the lipstick and the dual colour takes a little getting used to and some thought to ensure it is on correctly.Look.....The liner is much wider than a separate crayon would give, but it is distinguishable from the inner shade nonetheless. The lipstick looks better after pursing my lips to blend the shades together.Lipstick........Once on it feels lovely and smooth, but the downside of the moisturising formula is that it doesn’t last long and wears off when eating or drinking.

I didn't think I was going to like this product. I've seen ladies with lip liner and a different shade lipstick before and always thought how bad it looks. Like either their lipstick has worn off leaving the harsh lines of the liner or they didn't match their shades very well. What this lipstick offers is a far smoother more blended effect. It is softer at the edges and doesn't have that harsh line that I personally think looks really naff. Altogether a much better gradient. It was so easy to apply to get the effect, much easier than I imagined it would be, and the lipstick feels great. very moisturising. The peach shade is lovely for summer with a little bit of a tan.I am really pleased with this.

Bourjois Sweet Duo Lipstick is beautiful to use lipstick which is a duo coloured lipstick and personally, I love the effect though it does take quite a bit of practice to receive the perfect look it is made for.One side of the flat edged lipstick is a darker red colour which is a lot narrower than the lighter colour. The broader lighter edge is to be applied to the main body of the lip while the narrow edge is for "lining".I love the softness of the product and it provided me with a nice duo colour which is very on trend at the present time. This is a beautiful lipstick and one which I love to apply, it has become a firm favourite of mine and for me personally,it is one I am happy to recommend.

I love this lip liner and lipstick in one. It's a peachy lipstick with a slightly darker pinky liner in a oblong shaped stick. The idea is that rather than applying liner then lipstick separately you can do it all in one go and it does exactly that. You need to make sure you hold the stick correctly so the liner is in the right place and have to turn it upside down when you do the bottom lip but it's easy enough. It wasn't any quicker to apply than doing them separately but I expect this will change as I get used to putting it on. I did have to reapply during the evening but there wasn't any bleeding. I'd happily get this again.

I’ve never come across such a lipstick before! The tip is a rectangular shape, clearly showing the two different colours. You need to apply this lipstick carefully, to ensure the darker section goes around the outside of your lips. It is easy enough to do, although on first application I did make a slight mess on one section. The shade isn’t too bad, probably not my preferred shade, but I quite liked the instant lipliner effect. I never wear lip liner so this was something a bit different for me.The lipstick doesn’t last too long, but it’s easier than carrying around a separate lipstick and liner.

I do like this product. It's a pretty shade of coral, particularly complimentary if you have a tan, and it lasts a while. However, I don't feel like it lives up to the usual Bourjois standard - it feels more like a cheaper Maybelline product. The lipstick and liner are actually on the same stick...which is fine if you have thin lips, but makes it difficult to apply if you have a plump lower lip. It also has a tendency after an hour to go into the cracks of your lips if you haven't moisturised, which is a feature common of cheaper lip products. It's cute but more for a young teenage market.

It’s a great idea, the colour stick which twists up inside from the bottom is two-tone with the darker shade being the thinner. You obviously have to orient it the right way as you apply it so that the darker colour goes around the edge of your lips which frankly isn’t difficult but I was disappointed that the colour is not very highly pigmented, it’s more of a tinted gloss and it doesn’t have any staying power. One drink and all trace had gone.I like it, and would use it when I only want a hint of colour but I would have to keep reapplying which is a bit of a pain

What a clever ploy: one stick that incorporates two functions. This gorgeous, warm, coral-coloured lipstick is edged with a dark rose lip liner in a rectangular-tipped lipstick. Easy to apply and soft on the lips, it looks amazing on. The colour is quite muted which is ideal for everyday wear, it moisturises the lips, does not bleed into mouth lines and the colour lasts. No sharpening is needed, you just need to twist the bottom of the tube for more product. I was initially dubious about the claims but am delighted with the results.

Although this doesn't last as long as I would like after application, the process itself is great. A twist-up mechanism yields the colour, which has a slightly darker shade on one side of the stick and acts as the liner and a larger, lighter colour for filling in. You can use as much or as little of each shade for your desired look and then just twist back down again for storage. I like it and would love it if it lasted longer on the lips but it's gone after about an hour even without food or drink being consumed.

Not sure about this, jury is out on this one. I like the idea of this, but in practicality I don't know if its as easy as it may seem, or maybe its just us? The two colours ended up combined when we used and you end up with a slightly darker shade of lipstick. Not sure if this is what the manufacturer intended? As a liner its way to tricky to use properly, but as a lipstick its good. We love the brand and enjoyed the colour we ended up with even if this was not quite what the item was intended to do.

I really like this duo lipstick. I was dubious about the idea of a combined duo effect before I tried it, but I found it works really well and the subtle difference in shade adds an extra dimension to the lipstick, which looks great. The texture is really smooth and soft and it's very easy to apply. The shade itself is a matt, rich pink. It's a lovely warm shade, which is quite subtle.Overall, I'm a big fan and am sold by the idea of a lipstick and lip liner in one!
