Just thought I'd let anyone know who might be interested in saving a few pounds that I got this to fit a Makita dhs660.. by simply flattening the metal rod slightly to get the correct height.. Then securing the rod the to the guide with a Allen bolt (instead of the supllied thumb screw) so I don't accidentally adjust it again.. This can be removed and inserted without having to adjust to fit thanks to the slightly raised pin on the other end ?. Hope this helps.
