I have owned a BORNER for 27yrs unfortunately the safety holder broke, so I purchased a new one most useful for all vegetables. but make sure you use the Safety Holder* all the time. Due to buying the basic set there is only one blade not the thin julienne and the thick julienne so great that I kept my old blades which fit okay .

I have had a burner V slicer for many years and sadly when moving house i misplaced it so got a new one. Its just as sturdy and sharp plus this time came with a great holder
